INTRODUCTION
Use of Internet has become important and vital for all organisations and individuals in
today’s modern world as it is a worldwide network that ensures more effective communication
and transformation of information among various nodes and computer devises across the world.
Thus, there are two term that is online and offline where the concept of online is associated with
use internet and other computer devises and digital technology while offline is associated with
working without use of internet or any other technology (Starkey, 2020). The current assignment
basically consists of a comparison of a comparison and contrast between the positive and
negative aspects of an individual and businesses being online and offline along with discussion
about the challenges and measures of security and privacy that individuals and businesses take
when they go online. At last this, report also consist of evaluation that how blog different from a
Website and discuss different tools that could be used to create a blog.
TASK 1
Being online is directly associated with use of which provided access to a global wide
area network consist of various high-bandwidth data backbones that are connected with major
Internet hubs that is capable of distributing data to various locations across the world. Being
offline is basically opposite to being online that means the working and business transactions are
not controlled by or directly connected to a computer or the Internet (Gray and Palaiologou,
2019). Both online and offline have their positive and negative aspects for organisation as well as
for an individual, a comparison and contrast of which is provided below in context of both
individuals and organisation.
