technology. It is important for human resource department to adopt new technology to hire
candidates for the organization (Budhwar and Mellahi, 2018). In addition to this, companies uses
various social media applications such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram in order to attract
more people and retain top talent for the organization. The another external factors that have
impact on functions is environmental factors as now companies are shifted to use online medium
to send job letter, offer letter, receiving resume and many more on order to decline usage of
paper and contribute towards protection of environment. By the assistance of this, companies is
able to build positive image in market due to which their market share and market position is
enhanced in an effective manner. With reference to Morison’s, its Human resource department
uses new technology so that potential and talented candidate can apply for company which has a
positive impact on performance as well as profit level of the organization.
Internal factors comprises of employees, stakeholders, shareholders that has an effect on
responsibilities and human resource management processes. Nowadays, employees are become
more aware about their rights and the legislations they need to follow in order to remain in the
organization if company is not follow all the laws then it may affect negatively on mindset of
staff members which may raise absenteeism rate of employees in the organization. It also affect
negatively on performance and revenue level of the company (Dickmann, Brewster and Sparrow,
2016). In relation to Morison’s , its higher authorities follow all the rules which is for the safety
of employees and it assist them to retain staff members for longer time period and cut down their
cost of hiring new candidate for the organization. Government Regulations impact on human
resource management which require human resource to ensure the organization is in compliance.

various sort of issues and challenges arise at the external environment of the company which
affect their internal workplace in a negative manner. Some of the essential recommendation
given to the management team of Morrison’s are as follows:

that they can prepare themselves to adopt it in an effective manner. For this, managers
