Introduction
Internal and External factors include the elements which affects the
performance and growth of Business. The Internal Factors can create an
impact on business operation positively and negatively, these factors can
be controllable by the Organisation as it influences the elements that exist
within Company like information resources, good will, human resources,
technological resources, physical resources and many others.

External Environment
Political Factors
The political factors also influences the business, it includes two elements
which can affect the Company performance they are taxes and political
stability.
Economical Factors
The Economic Factors consider foreign exchange rate, inflation rate,
economic growth patterns and interest rate.
Social Factors
The Social Factors also influences Company performance and growth as
trends and taste and preferences of people get changed according to the latest
fashion in Market.
Technological Factors
Marks and Spencer must use the latest technologies to stay competitive in
Market and compete with its competitors.
Legal Factors
The Organisation must follow the laws and regulation of Countries in which
they are operating their business in order to avoid any problem and trouble in
Future.
Environmental Factors
Marks and Spencer is reputed Company in order to maintain the brand image,
company is concerned about the environmental effects that they leave behind.
How the company impact its
context External Environment
There are many ways through which Marks and Spencer can
impact on external environment, to stay competitive in Market
Organisation must conduct research and development so that they
can find out the latest technology which they can implement in
their operational activities. . As in COVID 19, people are sitting at
their home and ordering their meal via online mechanism. So,
Company must grab an opportunity and offer the meal to customers
by delivering them at home. This step can increase the profitability
and sale of Organisation as people cannot get outside from their
home.

Strength
One of the strength of Marks and Spencer is that they have maintained
their brand image in Market as they offer high end value product to
premium customers.
Weakness
Marks and Spencer fails to create their space in many countries due to its
western designs and not traditional clothes.
Opportunities
The Opportunity which Marks and Spencer can grab is grouping the
customers according to their needs and requirements.
Threats
The threat which can impact the performance and business activities of
Marks and Spencer can be controversies and competitors.
