1 PROJECT DESCRIPTION
1.1 PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND BACKGROUND
The paper mainly reflects on NAIDOC week celebration event that is mainly
hoisted by the SET indigenous committee. It is found that the event was mainly
organized by the committee in order to provide proper facility of collaboration as well as
engagement to the people of Torres strait Islander. In addition to this, the project that
was organized assists in raising awareness among the organizational staffs as well as
students of the CQ university about various cultures as well as perspectives of Australia.
The program was mainly hoisted by the Indigenous committee so that the
people who are associated with the university of CQ can get aware about the culture of
indigenous people including Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islander by generating proper
engagement facility for the organizational staffs and students. Moreover it is identified
that the event was organised in different campuses of CQ university including Perth,
Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, and Rockhampton.
1.2 JUSTIFICATION

very much advantageous
for the organizational staffs

to know about the culture

perspective related to
