of these benefits. Education is the basic right for humans. All children do not get the
opportunity to pursue education and learning especially when they are girl children and
below the poverty line. UNESCO, on the International Day of Education is asking the world
to make quality education the priority. Children in the poor countries, have to face challenges
to access education. Access to education can help in improving the health issues and increase
the longevity of lives. It also helps in growing the economy of a country and helps in
combating the change in climate. Thus, UN is providing various ways so that 262 million
children get the required education. Gender discrimination can be reduced by educating the
citizens. Child marriage is still prevalent in many poor countries. Education can save the lives
of these children on a regular basis. Failure in educating girl child will lead to catastrophes in
the country. Millions of individuals will not have jobs to support their families. Knowledge
about health issues can be detected if proper education is imparted to individuals. Policy-
makers also focus on educational development to overcome the issues. Thus, cost effective
reforms should be applied in order to develop the society.
