Summary
According to many researches conducted over the last decade it is evident that
network designs and topologies as well as the IP addressing and network
equipment all play an important role in determining the effective implementation
of a network infrastructure. The report is tasked with designing and suggesting
such a network for Holmes Institute along with all the associated physical details.
First the report is to lay down the hardware requirements of the network and
justify them. Then the report is to present the network design and elaborate the
network architecture with respect to requirements. Next the report lists the IP
addressing details in a tabular format and ends with concluding notes.
