INTRODUCTIONTo grow a business in right direction managers of a company needs to recognize, predictand dealt with the changes in market environment. Thepresent research is based on managing a successful business project, it is based on CSR activitiesof an organization; Nisa case study is taken in to consideration. It is one of the top leadingbusiness chain in UK where it has been offered wide range of product and services to customersat affordable prices. The project management is the process of planning, organizing, staffing andcontrolling all over activities of a project. The primary objective of project manager is to obtainproject goals within an allocated resources. Project manager are highly responsible towards theeffective handling of risk that is associated with the project activity so that manger break downthe entire project in to a small activity that can handle effectively. Nisa project activities arerelated to CSR activities (Doherty, Ashurst, and Peppard, 2012). TASK 1 P1 Aim and objective of Nisa projectProject management is the application of require skill, knowledge, process and methodstowards the successful accomplishment of desired project objective (Turner, and Zolin, 2012).Various tools and techniques are to be used for the successful completion of certain objective.Project management involves core elements like time, cost and quality of certain project process.Nisa business organization heavily focused on continuous improvement and development in theexisting product line it helps in to maintain sustainable competitive advantage in market place.The quoted enterprise is more passionate about their strategic goal and work activities. The main objective of Nisa is that to conduct research program in context to CSRactivities:Subject: Planning and executing the CSR activities in terms to attain competitiveadvantage over their competitors.Background of the study- Nisa corporate social responsibility is to provide wide range ofproduct and services to customer at a affordable prices in order to increase their standard ofliving in terms to give valuable contribution in society. Nisa organization functions andoperations are under consideration of society welfare because every firm have a responsibility togive valuable return to society (Reich, Gemino, and Sauer, 2012). Nisa organization makescontribution in society by performing various activities like some part of company profit areinvest in the welfare of society such as gives free education and healthy food to poverty peopleand gives some donation to charity firm. Nisa organization creates employment opportunities,delivering the quality of services to customers and take care about the surrounding environmentetc. Concept of CSR must be followed by all king of business organization because they have anability to create wealth in a society and gives major contribution to country economy. All thefirms are actively participate in CSR activities that helps in to present better image of businessconcern in front of the society. Besides this, firm performs its CSR activities by performing theirresponsibility towards society to protect them. Aim-Implementation of CSR activity for achieving sustainable competitive objectives byNisa. Objectives-To understand the concept of CSR activity under business organization context to welfareof society.To examine the role of CSR activities towards the attainment of competitive advantage. To analyze the Nisa CSR activities that makes positive contribution in the societywelfare. Project manager construct the project plan under the consultant with projectteam members and their key stakeholders. Planning is the advance before constructing andexecuting it. Planning process establish the objective and scope of the project along withdefining the certain course of actions which are required towards the attainment of organizationobjective. Planning process analyze the various factors about the successful completion ofproject. It includes various factors of project management plan like where to do it, how to do itand when to do it etc. Effective planning process includes the arrangement and efficientallocation of resources according to assigned task and responsibilities (Sheffield, and Lemétayer,2013). Effective planning process helps in to manage different task and activities in a propermanner so that work can move towards the right direct to effective accomplishment oforganizational objective. Project planning are construct on the basis of several aspects like time,schedule, budget, available resources, scope and tools or methods which helps the organizationtowards the accomplishment of desired task. Tools and methods are to be used for analyzing therisk and maintains the appropriate communication channel for effective project management.Planning process arrange all these aspects in systematic and sequential order towards theaccomplishment of entire project in a desired manner. Risk analysis is one of the most crucialtask in planning process because it must be analyzed in a most effective way in order toeffectively resolve it. Planning process is the effective management of whole activities in orderto obtain desired outcome. Through this process manager of company determines the output wellin advance by proper management of whole activities with their associated outputs. Performance5
of project can be measured through the use of performance management baseline it provides thecriteria and benchmark for the performance measurement. There are several parameters are to beused such as schedule baseline, scope baseline and cost baseline etc all these parameters helps into measure the ongoing activity performance. Project management plan are construct under thevarious aspects like project scope management, project time management, project costmanagement, project quality management, human resource management and projectioncommunication management. All these factors are under considered for the successfulimplementation of plan. Project manager of Nisa spend significant amount of time in ensuringthat established baselines are effectively achieved or not. Components of project management plan are:Baselines are to used for performance measurement like scope, schedule and cost etc.Management plan are to be used for integrating all the activities under the scope,schedule, cost, quality, human resources, communication and risk all these parameters areeffectively manage by the project management plan. Other plans like which makes greater impact on the organizational CSR activities likeRequirement management plan, Change management plan, configuration managementplan and process improvement plan etc are to used for successful completion of projectplan. The project team of Nisa breaks their wholebusiness activities under the various department like HR department, Finance department andmarketing department, It identifies the major functional deliverables and subdividing thesedeliverables in to smaller subsystems and sub deliverables so that their activities are easilymanageable. Work break distinguishes whole activities in different task and all are identical toeach other, it also provides structure to individual task and activity according to the sequence ofeach task and activity towards the accomplishment of project plan. It helps in to understand eachtask functional activity with their probable outcome. The work break down structure has anumber of benefits in addition to defining and organizing the project work.
