Introduction
Northampton general hospital NHS Trust aims at providing common acute
services to the net population of nearly 380000 and hyper-acute stroke,
vascular and renal services to the individuals who lives throughout the whole
of Northampton shire, a total population of 692000. This trust also aims at
providing services to cancer patients who lives in in Northampton shire and
Buckinghamshire. The hospital is located in England and well managed by
Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust. It provides the service to the
patients 24 hours and there are total 700 beds available in the hospital. The
hospital was recognized in a townhouse on George Row in the year 1744.
In addition to this, the hospital also offers outpatient and day surgery
services at Danetre Hospital in Daventry. The hospital also provides free
health care services to few eligible patients and private patients. The
hospital delivers wide range of outpatients, diagnostics, inpatient and day
case elective and emergency care. In addition to this, it also has a wide
range of specialist treatments which helps in distinguishing the services of
the hospital from other many district common hospitals (Perla, Provost and
Murray, 2011). The hospital is also planning to grow in urological cancer
surgery and laparoscopic colorectal surgery department as well. Apart from
this, the hospital also aims at providing training to their clinical staff which
include doctors, nurses, therapists, scientists and other professionals. All the

training facilities available in the hospital are up to date and upgraded time
to time (Levene, Reinarz and Williams, 2012). The hospital majorly focuses
on the four major values i.e.
Quality Aspect
The hospital basically focuses on managing quality and managing people in
operation and supply chains. Steve Bryden is the senior consultant officer
who is responsible for improving the quality and efficiency at Northampton
General Hospital NHS Trust. The hospital offers huge range of services which
majorly emphasis on the quality aspect. The quality management
department assist in bringing the team. Staff and managers together and
unlock the ideas that is within their mind and generates potential in order to
improve safety, patient experiences and staff engagement and quality. There
is so much work pending related to sustainable waste free process which
must be unlocked in order to improve patient flow inside the hospital (Leape
et al., 2009). A bottom up approach must be established in order to improve
the quality aspect of the hospital. There are huge number of issues and
