INTRODUCTION
Breast cancer is a type of cancer that occurs because of some cells
and breast start growing abnormally. These cells divide more rapidly
than healthy cells and continue to accumulate forming lump or mass.
Invasive ductal carcinoma is most common type of breast cancer.
Breast cancer is most invasive cancer in women and is second leading
cause of death because of cancer after lung cancer. Breast cancer is
common in women but breast cancer can also develop in men.

Nursing intervention refers to any act by a nurse that implement nursing care plan.

Help patient navigate the system
This is one of the important nursing intervention in breast cancer management and
as per this nurses act as patient navigators. This is done to help patients deal with
physician referrals, appointments, test and treatment. This involves monitoring
and assisting patient as they move along from diagnosis to survivorship.
