in men and they should be treated and taught
considering their feeling.

Nursing staff when is teaching to patients with
breast cancer, it is important that they are patient
and present information in such way that

easy for patients.

This is done to help patients deal with physician
referrals, appointments, test and treatment.
This involves monitoring and assisting patient as
they move along from diagnosis to survivorship.
Providing educational material
Patients now have plenty of information available
to them through technology however it is
important that they are told about reliable sources
of information about breast cancer.

chemotherapy
This is one of the very important nursing interventions during treatment
of breast cancer that nursing staff regularly monitor adverse effect of
radiation therapy and chemotherapy on patient.
Promoting decision making abilities
Decision-making abilities here refer to ability to make decisions about
their treatment and care while they are being treated for breast cancer.
Reducing fear and anxiety and increasing coping abilities
Fear and anxiety can be reduced by informing them about different
possibilities in their treatment and how they can improve quality of
treatment through their own contribution.
Helping patient with adverse effect of chemotherapy
This mainly involves giving medication to patient as required to
overcome side effect of chemotherapy and helping them through
emotional support.
It is very important that patients are given emotional support so that they
feel better and become able to cope with side effects of chemotherapy.
CONCLUSION
On the basis of above discussion, it can be
concluded that breast cancer management is a
very complex situation. However, appropriate
nursing interventions can help patients to
overcome complexities of breast cancer
management. Nursing intervention should be used
according to patients and their needs. This means
that women patients of breast cancer need to be
treated and intervened differently than men
