Introduction:
The religious and ethical values of an individual, a group, an organization or a
community plays major role in guiding them regarding their deeds. the religious beliefs and
values of any individual or community are defined as the ethical moralities that are founded
in any religious backgrounds, manuscripts and the people’s beliefs. When compared to an
individual’s personal values, the religious beliefs and values are developed based on any
religious scriptures and any norms established focusing in the religion. The ethical values are
also found to guide the nursing staffs in delivering better care and treatment to their patients.
The nursing and health care staffs have their own ethical values which provide knowledge
them regarding a better developed and effective care delivery. These values include
developing health, averting risk of disease, providing equal rights and care and decreasing or
eliminating suffering.
Local religious community:
Hispanics or the Latinos are one of the largest ethnic and racial minority community
in the regions of the United States. Hispanics community are found to have a strong heritage
which includes their family, culture and religion. Every local group of these Hispanic
community has their own cultural beliefs and rituals which are different from one another.
The local communities of the Hispanic communities have diverse and religiously bound
health care beliefs. These beliefs include attending health care facilities, infant baptism,
curandero, fatalism and anointing. These Hispanic communities also believe in Marianismo
and Machismo. They have their own health care and treatment beliefs which in various
aspects keeps them deprived of better health and lifestyle. These communities are in major
need of the education and awareness related to the health condition and treatment process. As
their religious views are found to be conserved, they keep them deprived of better health and

lifestyle, thus the nursing staffs needs to focus on the code of ethics and their religious values
to provide them awareness and treatment (Chipulu et al., 2018).
Nursing code of ethics:
The Code of Ethics for the Nurses was established by the American Nurses
Association (ANA) to make obvious to the nursing staffs the primary goals, standards, and
commitments of the nursing profession towards their patients. The Registered Nurse Code of
Ethics comprises of different ethical nursing values, which is found to be most important for
any nursing practice to deliver a better care and treatment. usefulness of the Code of Ethics
for nursing is that it serves as the resource which is found to help th e nursing staffs in make
the appropriate decisions in a much comfortable manner, and to provide better services to
their patients (Eneanya, 2019). This code of ethics conducts both integrity and
professionalism in their practice by respecting values of the patient, keeping the
confidentiality of the individual’s health and treatment without risking on the security and
health of the individual suffering (Butts & Rich, 2019).
Impact of ethic on coordination of care:
Care coordination is one of the measured organization involving patient health care
activities. The association involves involvement among two or more contributors associated
with the patient’s health care in order to help with the proper delivery of the health care
facilities. The coordination of care is a process of involvement of two or more stakeholders
to provide patient care. It involves the nursing staff, the healthcare professionals and the
patients in order to provide better care to the individual and sometimes values sometimes
affect the process of coordination of care (Gurney et al., 2017).
