The report will highlight the book “The one-minute manager by Kenneth and Spencer
Johnson”. Along with this the report will give review on this book including about the book,
scope of the book, main topics that has authors highlight. With this there are more thinks which
will includes such as relationship with the management and employees, organization portrayed,
etc.

The One-Minute Manager by Kenneth Blanchard and Spencer Johnson
The main purpose of the book is to give managers the three tools in which each take only
60 seconds or may be less, but they can tremendously improve how actually they do their own
job that is getting people to stay happy, motivated as well as deliver great work (Johnson, and
Blanchard, 2015). So the book is One Minute manager is the short book that is by Spencer
Johnson and Ken Blanchard. The book is all about recording the three techniques as well as
effective manager they are one minute praising, one minute reprimands and one minute goals.
The book is divided into three secrets. That is goals, praising and re directs. The book
want to tall that take one minute then look at individual goals, then look at individual
performance, then see if the individual behaviour matches the goals. The first secret is One -
Minute Goals, the Writer feel that goals as well as its performance standard that what generally
needs to be done, by due date. Here, people one-minute goals must includes top priories. The
goals are important, but there are different way in book by which person can improve their
outcome of goals are:
Plan goals together. When people do this then they try to describe them clearly as well as
briefly. So individuals should clearly define their outcomes as they want by starting what
they think good performance is.
Each individual should write their goals with last or due date on paper. So this helps to
encourage then to do work on time and match deadlines.
It holds the main three tools that is if applied correctly then it can change management
style for better. First is to set three goals for every employees by which the manager review in 1
minute or may be less (Blanchard, and Diaz-Ortiz,2017). Second is use 1 minute praise to
generally give employees positive feedbacks. Then the last one is 1 minute reprimand that is
enough to particular express managers' dissatisfaction. In most of the business when normal
