CE 3.2.1 Characteristics of the project
This project was undertaken to develop an online career guidance system for [please fill
college name]. This web application was accessible throughout the college for accessing several
processes that were involved in the career guidance system. The project duration for developing
an online career guidance system was from [please fill date] to [ please fill date]. This
application was designed and developed for giving proper guidance to the students regarding
their career. The college students were given the opportunity to register and attend various
placement programs and seminar conducted by other colleges. The students could give online
examinations for getting shortlisted for college interviews. This career guidance application was
developed for guiding the students in selecting correct colleges for higher education based on
their skills and knowledge. The main focus of this project was to develop a college searching app
for finding appropriate colleges based on certain criteria. This app also had a special feature for
finding information regarding different streams and vacancies in colleges. Students were able to
apply for a job. This app was not designed to use dynamic data during runtime.

to find appropriate job opportunities by providing optimized search results. This career guidance

CE 3.2.3 My area of work
I was appointed as the project team leader from [please fill date] to [please fill date]. I
was under the supervision of the project manager. My main area of work was to monitor the
activities of the project team members and distribute the activities based on their professional
skills and knowledge. I had to guide the team members for ensuring that the online career
guidance system was developed within time. I had to provide my team with the technical

specifications of the system. My main area of work was to carry out a research work on the need
and importance of a career guidance system. I was involved in collecting information regarding
different colleges such as courses offered, vacancy, fees and other facilities. I had to ensure that
the online system was operating efficiently. I had to maintain proper coordination among the
team members. Being the project team leader, I was involved in all the phases of the project. I
had to investigate the weaknesses of the current career counselling and career guidance system in
