Person-centred care is where patients participate in their
own treatment with their medical healthcare
professional.
This person-centred care is used at various places such
as in rehabilitation centres, emergency care, palliative
care etc. these type of care are designed and developed
in such a way such that patients willingly, readily
cooperate with their healthcare professionals to achieve
health related benefits. In such type of care both medical
professional and patients equally plan their care.
Introduction

Person-centred care also be defined as the way of
thinking where patients who use such health and social
services equally partner up with their health
professionals in monitoring, planning and developing
their care so that all of their needs are fulfilled.
One of the most important part of this approach is
health education information i.e. patients should be
taught and explained so that they can understand all the
provision of this approach.
