To improve on its
performance, the IT firm
should consider to have an
account for the current laws
and regulations and restrict
the amount of personal data
along with ensuring data
security practices. It can be
suggested to define specific
goals for the employees.
Organizational behaviour is
the primary determinant of
a company’s success.
Identifying issues related to
organizational behaviour is
important in assisting an
organization to streamline
its operations.
Introduction RecommendationSome of the issues associate with
individual employee behaviour in
the case study include (Breu, et al
2013, pp.364): work-life balance
where the staff is faced with tight
project deadlines and their
personal growth is not considered.
In this context, the organizational
theory of attitude and behaviour
can be considered. However the
issues identified from the case
study can be found relevant to the
organizational behavioural theory
of sociology, psychology,
communication and management.
Issues regarding team-related
behaviour include (Csaszar 2012,
pp.620): role uncertainty which
has resulted from the increased
teams’ size. According to the case
study, issues related to
organization structure include
(Drachen et al. 2014, pp.7):
departmentalization such as
formation of 8 BU that resulted to
competition within the firm.
Organizational process issues
include (Eccles, Ioannou and
Serafeim 2014, pp.2841): material
process which was inefficient
resulting to poor team
performance.
