INTRODUCTIONOrganisation behaviour consist study about nature of human beings. It assists to assesscauses and effect of that behaviour on enterprise. There are certain importance of any type of theenterprise which assists to understand organisation and employees in better way. This studyinfluence each other with several factors that helps to motivate workers. It involves leadershipstyle and corporate culture as per workplace characteristics (Adedeji, Popoola and San Ong,2017). Present study based on A David & Co Limited that deals in small business and consistoperations in food and beverages. Main quality of this company is that they produce freshproducts to build trust of several customers on the enterprise. Present report includes organisation's culture, power and politics which influenceindividual and team behaviour with their performances. Furthermore, it contains theories ofmotivation and techniques that are enabled to accomplish organisational goals. Moreover, itcovers methods to make effective team opposed to ineffective team. At last, it includes conceptsand philosophies that are implemented in the organisation to accomplish desired level ofefficiency.LO 1P1 How organisational culture, power and politics influence team behaviour and performancesA David & Co Limited determine important functions in the business which assists toperform several operations with team. Power and politics plays an important role in organisationwhich govern that decisions are made towards employees interaction with other people. Inparticular business, impact of power depends on the whether workers consider positive andnegative power which influence to determine overall culture (Trevena and et.al., 2015). Influence on Culture: There are mainly four types of culture that exists within enterprise towards effective teamperformance in chosen business. For instance, competitive, controlled, creative andcollaborative. A David & Co Limited focuses on creative culture which impact positive andemployees feel loyalty. Handy cultureAs per power culture, few individual influence spreads in the enterprise. According tothis system, in A David & Co Limited few rules and little bureaucracy to control radiates fromthe centre. As per role culture, highly controlled on the business as hierarchical structuredevelop. In task culture, power derives from expertise as long team requires expertise. Positive power builds confidence and motivate all people to work harder. As a result, itconsiders positive influence on the desired results. It also creates results in higher level positionto gain respect and communication. Employee retention rates are higher when staff membershave power to express their work together and concern for the organisation (Zeiger, 2018).However, when leaders in the chosen company does not respect their workers, it creates negativeinfluence of power. This type of leader negatively motivate among staff members to perform andrecognising hard work. Not only quality of work diminish, but also leads with high turnover ofemployees. Politics influence on team behaviour and performanceEmployees of A David & Co Limited learn to navigate politics in the organisation withmore productive manner. On the other hand, it also creates negative impact in an enterprisebecause climate is also not successfully developed to encourage and engage to dishonest orunethical behaviour (Sassi, Belloni and Nugent, 2018).
