INTRODUCTIONOrganisational behaviour is the study of human behaviour. It is one of the way throughwhich people behave in the group. This process is applied in an industry in order to make themmore efficient. Present study will lay reflection on organisation behaviour practices applied inGoogle. Report discusses about influence of culture, politics and power on the behaviour ofothers in an organisation (Wood and et.al., 2016). It will highlight how to motivate individualand team to achieve goal. Assignment explains about how to co-operate effectively with others.It explains what makes an effective team as opposed to ineffective ones. Report also highlightsconcepts and philosophies of organisational behaviour within Google. MAIN BODYP1. Influence of culture, politics and power on individual and team performance in GoogleCulture, politics and power all influence working of team and individual. They have anegative as well as positive impact on an organisation. It can be explained through CharlesHandy Model of Organisation culture. These can influence the efficiency of individual and teamworking in GoogleInfluence of culture: Organisational culture includes the values and behaviour followedby team, individuals and groups. This helps in making environment of industry unique, socialand psychological. It includes belief, values, principles, traditions and thought followed byemployees working in Google. Task culture: In these teams are formed by Google to achieve a particular goal andobjective. Company who are engaged in identifying and addressing the cultural needs anddemands of teams and individuals increases the productivity and efficiency of them. It also helpsorganisation in creating employee loyalty. In order to increase effectiveness in their work Googleneeds to match their organisation objective with culture. Person culture: Google to make work of employee more efficient should make them feelthat they are more important than organisation. Culture of an industry manages how workersbehave with themselves and with other individual (Coccia, 2014). It helps in creating a bondingbetween individual, team and board of management. If cultural sentiments of an employee arebeen hurt in google than it might hamper organisational growth.1
