INTRODUCTION
Organizational behavior is one of those valuable studies that enable individual to
understand how workers behave and act within company, where they perform to achieve
strategic aims and objectives by using their abilities, skills, knowledge and experience that they
have. The current assignment will be based on Google, which falls under category of top
multinational organizations in the world. The study will explain influence of organizational
culture, politics and power on individual & team behavior and performance. It will define how
motivation theories like process and content as well as motivational methods enable effective
achievement of goals in company. Furthermore, the report will justify what makes an effective
team as opposed to ineffective. Lastly, it will clarify philosophies and models of organizational
behavior within chosen firm content and given venture circumstance as well.

P1- Analyzing how individual and team behavior and performance influence by politics,
organizational culture and power
Defining organizational culture-
A business culture is sum of practices, actions and decisions that taken by a leader,
manager or top authority for workers as well as business benefits (Isensee and et.al., 2020). In
the world of venture, there are varied forms of models available that define types of culture and
their impact on staff performance and behavior.
Handy organizational culture model-
Power culture-
When firm adopt and create this form of culture at workplace, it may allow leader to
motivate each candidate and enhance their performance as well as influence their behavior
positively. It drives their attention to use power in ethical manner.
Role culture-

According to this term, leader may take initiative to put positive influence on team and
individual behavior and performance in term of supporting and encouraging each worker, which
made them capable to feel valuable and important for brand.
Task-
Leader within Google may adopt this organizational culture and perform in ethical
manner in term of dividing roles and accountabilities or task on the basis of employee’s abilities.
It influences their performance positively and give reason to retain within firm forever that is
beneficial for brand as well as their productivity.
Person culture-
In this kind of organizational culture, workers may focus on their aims achievements that
means they less take initiative to support other that it important. It may influence individual and
team’s behavior and performance negatively, in term of decreasing their morale and interest to
work at those kind of workplace where people are less interested to support and collaborate with
others.
Meaning of organizational politics and its impact-
It refers to self-serving nature that workers utilize to maximize probability of gaining
positive results in a company like Google.
It may put negative effects on both teams and individual worker in term of creating
ineffective environment at workplace, where people may work together. It is the main reason
behind high employee turnover. It may decrease employee satisfactory level and their
productivity as well.
Definition of organizational power-
It defined as capability that management within Google may have to influence behavior
of another stakeholder such as workers, whether they work individually or in a team.
