The significance of the organizational behaviour is increasing in a noteworthy manner
in the modern business world. With a precise focus on the increasing consideration of the
managers towards the diversification of the workforces, the importance of the organizational
behaviour is subjected to a significant growth. The conceptual definition of the organizational
behaviour is pretty significant in stating the need of managing the diverse backgrounds and
the cultures of the employees inside the organizations (Huczynski, Buchanan and Huczynski
2013). Along with that, the sustainability of the business operations of majority of the
organizations is seen to be significantly dependent on the capability of the organizations in
managing the various aspects of their organizational behaviour such as the employment
related situations, work culture, employment turnover, absenteeism, productivity along with
the human resource and performances management of the employees (Wilson 2018). The
paper is focused in the elaboration of the organizational behaviour of an American retail
market giant. The multinational company operates in the global retail market. The paper
analyses the personality and learning habits of the employees of the company inside the
workplaces. Along with that, the paper evaluates the perception, attitude or values of the
employees towards their operational activities. The paper also evaluates the job satisfaction
of the employees in the company in addition to the discussion regarding the organizational
effectiveness. Apart from this, the paper includes a set of important recommendations for
improving the organizational effectiveness in the company.
Personality and Learning Habits of the Employees:
Considering the business operations of mentioned multinational retail giant, it is
understandable that the company has significant amount of concern towards the effective
management of the organizational behaviour of the employees and that is visible with the
formation of the various policies related to business ethics or appropriate business conduct.
The Type A employees of the company are observed to be significantly focused towards the

learning that they achieve from the company. The openness of the employees towards the
proactive management of their developmental needs with the help of the training and the
developmental activities is seen to be one of the crucial factor that influences the company in
formulating increased number of training and developmental activities for the employees of
the company (Corporate.walmart.com. 2019). From the various interview sessions of the
senior managers of the company, it is pretty evident that the ability and focus of the
employees towards the learning and development of their skills and competencies provides
the much needed base for them in the development of the academies for providing the
training program which are tied up with the working supercentres. This is significantly
helpful for the employees of the company in increasing their knowledge and skills both in the
class room sessions along with the sales floor training sessions.
As a result of the training sessions, the employees of the company are able to gain the
advanced retail skills along with the soft skills such as the leadership, change management
along with the improved interpersonal communications (Corporate.walmart.com. 2019).
However, one of the major concern for the company is seen to be the apathy of the employees
in utilising their acquired knowledge or the skills in real time business operations.
Perception, Values and Attitude towards the Work:
With a precise focus on the body language and the behaviours of the employees inside
the organization, it is visible that the employees of the company are dedicated for working
efficiently inside the company. Majority of the employees of the company are determined in
meeting the desired quality standards in their business operations and that is evident with a
precise look at the increasing urge of them in improving their skills and competencies with
the help of the training provided by the company. During the year 2018, 450000 number of
employees of the company were observed to participate in the training program of the
