ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOUR1
The organizational behaviour refers to the behavioural aspects and attributes executed
and showed by an organizational members, within the organizational setup. Every
organization is seen to practice a set of code of behaviour within the organizational premise,
irrespective of the business sizes and the business sectors. Pinder (2014), has opined that
there are certain factors that effectively contribute in the setting of the code of behaviours and
influence the behavioural aspects of the employees. The three factors that effectively
contribute in the motivating the organizational behaviour are, the factors of Motivation, the
factors of associated Benefits and the system of Reward and Recognition. A further
discussion of these factors have been provided in the following.
Self- Esteem:
The factor of self- esteem is influences and determines the organizational behaviour
of an individual, within an organizational setup. Self- esteem refers to the sense of self-
worth. The individuals have self- respect and they have the understanding of their own
capability. Therefore, while being involved in an organization, all individuals grow a sense of
self- worth based on their performance and their contribution made towards the organization
they are involved in. Dugguh, and Dennis (2014), has stated that each organizations must
acknowledge this sense of self- worth that the employees have, and further appreciate them
for their involvement and their contribution within the organizational structure. The
employees must be recognised and rewarded, for their involvement and their contribution.
The need or self- actualization, and the need for self-esteem of the employees, as propounded
by Maslow, in his Need Hierarch theory, can be employed to exemplify this approach. This in
turn, determines a sound and appropriate organizational behaviour to be practiced among the
employees (Maslow 2013). However, the actors and the performers a different aspect of self-
esteem. For example, in an interview, Kate Winslet stated that, before going to the shoot, she
always thinks that she is a fraud and she is ugly and that she will get fired. This lower self-
