1. Introduction
Western Victoria Primary Health Network (WPHN) is a healthcare providing
organization, which is situated at the metropolitan sector in Australia. The different services that
are provided by the organization are related to the health related issues faced by the
communities. The report presents outcomes of the functions that are undertaken by the
organization and the manner in which the culture of the organization affects the different
outcomes (Ashby et al. 2012). Western Victoria Primary Health Network consists of four
regional centres located in Geelong, Ballarat, Horsham and Warrnambool. Western Victoria
Primary Health Network covers an area of 79,234.4 square kilometers with a total population of
617, 931 persons (ABS 2016) residing across 21 local government areas (LGAs). On the other
hand, the report also enumerates the recommended actions that are undertaken by the
organization and the manner in which WPHN will be able to bring in changes in the functions.
The identification of the issues that are faced by the organization and the manner in which the
issues can be mitigated through the enumeration of different policies will be helping to enhance
the quality of the services offered.
2. An explanation of the outcome and its importance
The outcome of the actions that are undertaken by the organization are dependent on the
quality of the services and the manner in which the organization is striving to bring in positive
changes in the services quality to bring in improvements in the systems of the firm. The
development of the organization through the group discussions and the seminars has helped the
same in bringing forth improvements in the service quality. The enhancements of the services
quality will be helping the business to enhance the processes that are undertaken by the firm. The

identification of the issues that are faced by the patients and the manner in which the services
that are offered by the organization are to be positioned has helped the firm to bring forth
continuous improvement and sustainability of the functions. The outcome of the organization
will be helping the same to maintain the goodwill of the firm while operating in the Australian
market.
3. The relationship of organizational culture to the outcome
The organizational culture affects the smooth functioning and the outcome of the
organization in the market. The organization follows clan culture, which has helped the firm to
undertake steps to provide a variety of services where the goals and the values of the
organization play a major role in identifying the chief outcomes. The organizational culture of
WPHN has helped the same in bringing forth changes in the systems of the undertakings (Hassali
et al. 2014). The healthcare organization provides employment to physiologists, nutritionists,
mental health nurses, counselors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and general
practitioners. It has helped the organization in adhering to a variety of issues that are faced by the
people and thereby applying ethical medical services to resolve the issues. It has helped in
bringing forth changes in the systems and thereby enhance the outcome of providing quality
healthcare services to the different communities.
4. The recommended strategies to achieve the outcome
The strategies that might be undertaken by the organization are dependent on the
identification of the needs of the patients and thereby amending them with the same to enhance
the outcomes of the organization. The strategies are as follows:

 Constructing a separate clinic for the veteran patients as it will be focused on the
operational and medicinal properties to bring in changes in the systems of the
organization (Gardner et al. 2014). On the other hand, the different aspects of the change
in the systems of the business are dependent on the identification of the issues that are
faced by the veterans while undertaking the smooth functioning of the firm as per the
needs of the veterans.
 The organization must take steps to set up a subsidized medical store to support the needs
of the patients from the remote communities. It will be helping the organization to adhere
to the needs of the people from the remote areas to bring in changes in their livelihoods
(Baghbanian et al. 2012).
 The organization can make use of mobile healthcare facilities for the native people
residing in the remote areas of the region to bring in changes in the systems of the
functioning of the firm (Johar, Jones and Savage 2012).
The different outputs will be facilitated through the strategies, which will be helping the
organization to adhere to the holistic approach as per the needs of the people residing in the
remote areas of the region.
5. Identification of relevant policies that would need to be developed to assist in achieving
the outcome
The relevant policies that might be used by the healthcare organization are policies
related to Pharmaceutical benefits, Veteran healthcare, Aboriginal and Torres Islander
healthcare and Food safety handling. It has helped the organization in bringing forth different
changes in the systems of the firm and thereby help the organization to adhere to the

requirements of the organization in the market (Seale, Kaur and MacIntyre 2012). On the other
hand, the identification of the needs of the patients will be helping the organization to bring forth
changes in the service quality and the type of services that are required to be taken by the firm.
The changes in the systems of the organization have helped in maintaining the goodwill of the
organization while operating in the Australian markets.
