Reasons for the organizational system’s impact Recently, the Board of Directors at Farm Bank approved the designing and installation of a comprehensive management information system(MIS) with the intention of improving the internal operations. This is to be achieved by supplying information faster, thereby reducing the time required to service its customers. According to the findings of the Survey, it was found that approximately 85 percent of the staff still kept their records in the manual format because they lacked complete and total trust in the new system. Lack of trust in the new system is a major layback on its success, but a major impact on the psychosocial element of the staff within the organization.

Goals It is apparent that the MIS system has significantly impacted on the goals of the organization as a whole. Particularly, this is attributed to the fact that the system was designed and implemented with the aim of improving management operations within the bank. Also, the
system’s goal was to enhance the internal functions by supplying important data on a more expedited basis and, thus, as a result decrease the time to service the clientele. Furthermore, it has impacted on the firm’s goals on matters relating.
