INTRODUCTION
Business management refers to the managing the organisation and coordination of
activities of business. Management is basically the in charge of organising, planning, controlling
and directing the resources of business so that they can meet out the objectives of the
policy(Avasilcăi and Rusu., 2015). In the present report, a case study is taken into consideration
on the Original Creations. The company has to face failure into the context of its latest venture
after trying continuously for three months into the market for the new product. The present report
will cover analysis about reasons for doing the project and also about business options which
needs to be considered into appropriate manner. In addition to this, the report will cover analysis
about the expected benefits and non-benefits and costs as well. Moreover, the report will cover
discussion about personal reflection which is based on the learning experience.

There are certain reasons of doing this project which is defined into the following
manner:
Original Creations wants to market certain 'lifestyle' products which uses direct mail
brochure and the internet as well. Products which are marketed includes the rain wear range for
cats and doges. In their outdoor collection they have also marketed a range of garden lights
which is in the shape of garden flowers and outdoor cloth dryers. Original Creations has to face
failure into the context of its latest venture which is continuously facing failure after three
months of trial. Mary has to face failure into the context of tenth new product failure and she is
also worried in terms of that she is losing direction(Başkavak.,2017). The problems are related to
the sales which is lower than the expected level and also about the quality, useful parameters as
well. They have to face problems in terms of damage of goods and the returns which are too
high in order to justify the continuation of the product. There are also certain problems which is
related to the product idea generation and that is totally based on the in-house parameters. So
these are the problems which is faced by the Original Creations in terms of doing the project.

following manner:

growth and development of the business.
 Do something else: Within the project, if business can't stand competitively into the
market then they have to search for another option and have to do another activities

appropriate manner. It includes Discovery, dream, design and destiny.

Discovery: Within this step, project has to discover that what is the requirement of the project
and also about the market analysis so that accordingly Original Creations can take steps
towards it.
 Dream: Within this step, company has to dream about the set targets and about the

With the support of numeracy skill, I can understand the activities and strength points of
company into appropriate manner. The data has also helped me in terms of understanding into
this context about the company's weaknesses and talents of the workers as well. I have also learnt
that numeracy skill also helped me in strengthening the decision-making power of an individual.
