The hospitality industry is described here with theemerging examples that has great importance in its business(Radojevic,Stanisic, andStanic, 2015. ). Task 11. The current scale, scope and diversity of the hospitality industry.Scale- This include bar, restaurants, pubs, lodging entertainment, caters gaming andevent management.Scope- This means the involvement of GDP contribution, turnover, job opportunitiesand employments related with this sector.Diversity- The areas of expansion and the sectors in which the services areprovided by it in different parts of the world. The expansion of this sector according tosize is too vast. About more than 1,30,000 restaurants and cafes are generated by it.Hospitality services- A lot of services are provided by hospitality industry to supportother industries that includes from hotels to restaurants. Food, drink facilities are alsoprovided by it including security and housekeeping services. Business, travel, retail,education, health care and cooperative business, local authority, leisure venues, concertevents, sports and many more things are managed by this hospitality industry. Aboutmore than 200,000 staffs are working in this sector that consists of both male and femalestaffs. People of different ages are connected with this. About 62% of work force isoccupied by females and more than 25% is occupied by the people who is above 50years. This is being chosen to work because this sector is providing good services andfacilities to people across the world.Food & Service Management- Food and related services are being served to thecustomers with an advanced service of security and housekeeping. migrants people who are working in this sector. About 55% of the workforce is occupiedby these migrant people whon are working in full-time job(Kandampully Zhang,andBilgihan, 2015).Travel and Tourist Services- People from across the world like to travel and this servicesis given to those people. National and international franchisees are being involved tohandle the hospitality.Franchisees are run with the name of brand and money is paid to the related hospitalitysectors. Leasing and taking contract is the other way to work with it. The financial andnon- financial terms of business are made from the different parties to work with it.M.1. A major operator within UK hospitality with its history and services.Travelodge – It is one the second largest hotel that deals with good budget inUK. It has third place in UK with maximum number of bedrooms in hotel. This is aprivate limited organisation that is dealing with UK hospitality industry(Claveria,Monteand Torra, 2015. ). It was 1980s when this hotel was brought by Lord Forte in Britain forfirst time. This hotel is known for its overbooking with its quality services. The staticsof turnover graph of his hotel is increasing from 2013 to 2017 and it was about 637.1billion British pounds in 2017.D.3. Evaluation of scale and scope of hospitality business.Scope and scale are two strong pillars of hospitality business. No doubt diversitymatters but here its most important that peoples are getting job opportunities and achance to explore themselves. More number of people are increasing quality andservices of this business. Now it comes to the other contribution that is GDP growth. Itsquite obvious that government imposing taxes and sometimes the business is alsoaffected by that but yet it has great contribution to people as well as government bodies.1.2.
