INTRODUCTIONHuman resource management can also be known as people management which embracethe activity of recruitment , management, and provides directions to their employees of anorganisation. These tasks includes action like hiring, managing the performance of worker,safety, wellness, motivating its co-workers etc. company should look ahead of how to use theirnew member so as to get much benefits from them (Al-bahussin and El-Garaihy, 2013).Enterprise should provide with appropriate training and development so that they can utilise itwhich will enhance their performance. Managers are responsible for bringing best out of them inright direction. In this assignment we will be including the organisational structure and its impacton people, personal differences and its impact on individuals behaviour. Motivational theoriesare also being explained in this. What managing strategies should be used for assessment. ACTIVITY 1Impact of organisational structure on people in organisationOrganisational structure influence people in different ways like it motivates individualand employee feels secure about his job. It relaxes their fears of job loss and dedicate themselvesto work fully. This framework help their workers to do work in a systematic manner which is forthe betterment of their company. This structure teaches them to manage their work according tothe needs. Under this structure the person knows whom to concern if he is having any new ideasor challenges in doing any task. For having a strong bond, company needs to build goodcommunication among employees (Anderson, 2013). They share a common goal and plans ifthere is a transparent organisational structure which will help their organisation to take forwardin a productive manner. This broader the perspective of discussion in their related field.Impact of Organisational culture on people in OrganisationOrganisation culture helps us to know about the behaviour of an individual whileperforming his task, how the person is interacting with others. It can be positive or negativebased on the culture that is implemented in any organisation. It shapes the performance ofemployees. If organisational structure is good than employee will give his 100% in achievingany goals which will have a positive impact on overall performance of company. Thus, it refersto group of values, behaviours that are maintained by leaders in an organisation. Organisationalculture is different for each enterprise. It helps them to easecommunication of roles and responsibilities between individuals.Personal differences and its impact on individuals behaviour at workPersonality and behaviour is very important it may have a positive or negative impact onothers. It also influence person's performance so it is required to recognize individualspersonality traits because not every job is suitable for every one. Personal differences canhamper the performance of company. People with introvert behaviour, have problem incommunicating with others (Botha, Bussin and De Swardt, 2011). Frequent disconnections is amain drawback it occurs when thoughts are not matched with each other. Age can be one of themain reason for personal difference because when we go through different stage our mentalability and physical capacity is different. Economic status can bring personal difference betweenindividuals as they may feel superior than others.Management styles needed to deal with differences in behaviourManagement plays an important role in increasing good relations between employees andfor this they use different management styles for different behaviour. Company can usePaternalistic style of working where leaders are the one who decides which policy is best fortheir employees and organisation. Feedback is taken into consideration before deciding any plan.They pay attention to recreational needs while making any plan or decision. Democratic style ofworking is also a good example to reduce any behavioural differences because everybody iswelcomed to give their suggestions and ideas. They feel themselves as a part of organisation andhelp them in decision making which will motivate them therefore this will improve jobsatisfaction and productivity. Factors that affect the structure and culture of an organisationLeadership: Managers and leaders can be said as an important factor that influence thebehaviour of a person at workplace and home as well. Thus, it is essential to have a healthyenvironment in which workers can work peacefully. Other than this, managers and leadersshould make their employees feel important and must work as a source of inspiration. Work Culture: Under this, company tries to provide a comfortable workplace so thatworkers can feel positive and happy. Therefore, organisation must make norms which are samefor all so that individual is not discriminated. Other than this job security should be the primetask of the firm because it may affect the behaviour of employees.
