INTRODUCTIONOrganization behavior is termed as activities and understanding of individual personwithin and outside of the organization. Its is the study that identifies impact of organizationbehavior on structure an d culture of organization. Present report describes about various type oforganization culture and structure with co comparison of each. Relationship betweenorganization structure and culture and its impact on performance of organization has beenexplained. Effectiveness of leadership style on organization is also explained . TASK 11.1 Comparison of different organizational structure and cultureOrganization structure is defined as arrangement of duties and responsibilities ofindividual person within the organization (Wilson, 2017.). It is used to identify the flow ofinformation at various level of organization. Structure of organization define the hierarchywithin the organization. Structure helps in describing operation of organization which helps onaccomplishing goals and objectives of it.Rent -a-car uses flat organizational structure in which there is no management level betweenstaff workers and employees of organization. In this structure contact of top management existdirectly with front line people. this structure provides great communication between worker andtop level management. This helps in making better decision for companies as their isinvolvement of all the employees of organization in it. This structure used to produce employeesas generalist rather than specialist. Long term of growth restricted in this type of structure.City college use hierarchical structure in which pyramidal approach is followed. Particularemployee in the organization except the head reports to someone else about his work in thisstructure managers and employees relationship flows from bottom to top. Employees are ta thebottom of hierarchy . This structure promotes employees and motivate them to give goodperformance. Loyalty in individual employee increases in this hierarchy. There is possibility ofrivalry among employees in this structure of city college.Organisation culture defines how people will behave with each other. Rent a car uses task culturein which organization brings all the people together as unit so that team work could be increase.City college use power culture power is held by specific employees whose responsibility is tomotivate otters. 3

1.2 Impact of organization structure and culture on performance of businessFlat organisation structure use by Rent a car impact a lot on it performance. Employees ofRent a car gets more chance to involved in decision making process of company. This structureelevates and motivate employee of the company. Employees feel responsible and answerable froevery task they perform (Armstrong and Taylor, 2014.). Communication and coordinationamong employees increases due to which decision making processes becomes easier for thecompany. Effectiveness of employee also increases. Understanding among employee enhanceswhich in help in increasing performance of the company. Communication accuracy alsoincreases within the company which impacts organisation performance. Hierarchical structure used by City college has affect performance of the college. Thisstructure provides proper guideline for employees. It removes confusion among workers as ituses boundaries between each duty and job to be performed. It give clear line of communicationso that coordination problem gets reduce which help organization to improve its performance.When employee are assigned work according to level then each task gets completed within timewhich help organization to achieve it goals and objective easily.Organization culture impacts a lot on performance of Rent a car an City college . If behaviour ofemployee within the organisation is good them good team work is accomplished by thecompany. Culture helps in enhancing trust among the employees and provide opencommunication. Due to that reason performance of organisation gets improves.1.3 Factors that influences individual behaviour at workplaceEach employee in organisation comes from different background and culture. Sobehaviour of each employee differs from the other. Rent a car and City college both theorganisation get affected by following factors :Work culture: Feeling comfortable at workplace is necessary fro each employee to provide goodwork fro company. If employee does not feel comfortable and do not get proper cooperation thisin turn affects the behaviour of individual (Pugh and Hickson , 2016).
