INTRODUCTION
In recent time, it is fundamental for an association to determine those individuals who are
self concentrated and dedicated towards their work. It is required for existing workers to follow
adequate guidance; therefore, they can attain targets effectively in a corrective manner. Both sort
of improvement i.e. personal as well as professional is essential for as this provides growth to
their career (Walsh and Craig, 2016). If employee is high skilled then they will accomplish their
entire task within a specific period of time. Present report is based on Sainsbury which is
established in UK and doing their business in retail sector. Main purpose of this assignment is to
determine many methods which assist to promote lifelong and self managed learning. Manager
will use styles of learning; thus, they can cope up from many problems like communication.
Through assistance of personal audit people will know their strengths and weaknesses.
Development plan need to be prepared by employer and can be update by getting feedback.

1.1 Approaches to self managed learning and different learning styles
With assistance of this, a person can easily examine himself and will improve their
performance by learning. As a result, he will accomplish his task in an effective and efficient
manner. It is required for people to manage their capabilities adequately as this will cater success
to them into their career. In recent times, there are various programs which is developed by
regulatory bodies to increase work quality of persons. Hence, there are some approaches which is
utilized by manager of Sainsbury so that they can enhance learning of their staff members
(Christie and et. al., 2017). Visionary approach: With aid of this, superior will energize their employees; thus, they
can determine their own future plans. For above stated aim, they need to decide targets
which is related to future requisite. Learning through research: As per this, superior will help their workers so that they can
conduct research which is associated with their shortcoming and then over come from
them. Seminar and conferences: By attending this sort of session, both employer as well as
employee will able to learn new things by using new techniques.
