Introduction
Career plan refer to strategy which helps
to determine skills as well as interest of
individual to decide career goals and put
efforts to achieve these goals (Ab Rashid,
2018). This provide direct to person of
how to attain their career goals in life.

Professional field
Professional field are those which an individual chooses to develop career opportunity in that area.
In today’s time, there are various career choices available to an individual in which they a build
their career(Crotty, Farren and Kilboy, 2019). These include finance, marketing, information
technology, human resource, international business, accountancy and many more. I have chosen
human resource as my professional filed as I know how to handle things as well as human
resources. Human resource is one of field which include work of managing human resources at
work place. I want to be human resource manager in reputed organisation as this will provide
growth to my career.

Strength and weakness
• Strength: One of my strength is problem solving skills as I know how to deal with problem
without panic from situation. It helps to effectively solve problem occur in life as well as in work
place (Sushchenko, Shchegolev and Korshunov, 2016). These problem-solving skills helps me to
be effective human resource manager.
• Weakness: One of my weakness is Communication which is necessary for an individual as it
helps them in professional development. These skills also provide various employment
opportunity to a person (Voller, 2016). To improve these skills, I need to work on my
communication skills. To improve communication skills, I practice by speaking in front of mirror.

Strength Weakness
 Understanding of solving problem which is an important skill for human
resource manager. This will help an individual to handle various real-life
problem and also problem occur at work place (Zhukova, 2018).
 leadership is also one of quality which is beneficial for an individual to be
human resource managers. I know how to handle human resource managers
as there are various situation occur in which teacher gave group assignment
and I take responsibility to handle all members related to team.
 Poor communication skills create problem in field of human resource to a
individual. It is important to learn communication for human resource managers as
they need to provide various information to their employees.
 Lack of negotiation skills is also creating problem for employees as it is one of
important skills that plays important role in field of human resource.
Opportunity Threat
 Handling people and problem skills are one of those skills which allow
individual to get various employment opportunity.
 It also helps to provide career growth to an individual. This career growth
provides them various perks and benefit along with their employment.
 This can result in break in trust of employees with human resource managers as
they have poor communication skills (Agarwal and Lake, 2016).
 Poor communication skills also result in misunderstanding and confusion at work
place which create problem for career of an individual.

Career goals: Career goals refers to defined statement which describe profession of an individual
to attain these goals throughout career (Allen-Johnson, 2017). It is important for every individual
to define their career goals as it helps them to identify better career opportunity and also describe
their action pan clearly.
•Long term goals: Long term goals are those goals which are future oriented and take time attain
by individual My long-term goals are to develop my knowledge by taking education to get better
career opportunity in life. I also want to find a job in field of human resource in recognised
organisation. These helps to provide financial stability and helps be to be independent.
•Short term goals: Short term goas are those which are simple to firm and can be achieved in less
time. My short-term goals are to improve my communication skills which helps to be an effective
human resource manager.

To achieve career goals, one need to put efforts and hard work as it results in
success. To achieve my career foals, I will successfully complete my education
proves. While enhancing my knowledge, I will work on m communication skills.
These helps me to full fill my short-term goals. After that I will prepare CV which
helps me to find a job.

To improve my learning and knowledge To improve my learning and knowledge, I will take
admission in University. There I will choose field of my
interest which helps me to develop career opportunity in
that field.
Outcome of this result is that I have taken admission in
University related to my field. This will improve my
learning and knowledge.
Improve communication skills To improve my communication skills, I will participate in
various activities like group discussion, presentation,
debate and many ore I will also practising in front of mirror
to improve my communication skills. To improves written
communication, I will compete my written assignments on
time as this will improve my writing skills and also my
language.
As a result, I have improved my communication skills.
These action not only improve oral communication but also
written communication.
Year 2
Building network While studying, a student can build a strong network with
people who are doing job, with their senior and with their
friends. This network will help in future to identify various
career opportunity as they provide reference for the job. TO
identify right job, network play important role as this
network helps to provide information related recruitment
process conducted in company.
As a result, I have built a strong network which helps me to
identify a suitable job. I have so many friend in my class
and I also made good relation with my senior who are
currently working in reputed organisation.

Preparing CV One can also learn how to prepare CV from their teachers.
CV play important role in finding a job as it contains
complete information about an individual including their
personal detail, academic information, strength, skill,
experience and many more.
I have prepared a CV with helps of my teacher. In this I
have mentioned all my details including qualification,
skills, strength and many more.
Year 3
Searching job Searching job is a long-term goal for a student. As
completion of studies, one wants to find a job which is
important form them to become independent. It also
provides them financial stability as enterprise provide
salary to their employees in return of their work.
I have applied my CV to various companies through their
websites. I also applied my CV in job searching sites.

In a present situation, I’m a student who wants to enhance their knowledge. But my
short term goals is to improve me so that can develop various skills which provide me
benefit in future period of time (Beijaard and Meijer, 2017). I will improve my skills to
get future opportunity as this career action plan helps me reach there. With this. I will
reach to my long term goal to find a job as a human resource managers in well
recognised organisation.

There are various challenges occur in path of an
individual to attained their career goals in life and these
create barrier in path of improvement (Cappella and
Godfrey, 2019). These challenges include lack of
communication skills, delay in practice, miss
improvement classes.

direction to a person of how to put efforts to attain career goals. In field of human
resources, there is various scope as individual need to fulfil many responsibilities to
manage people at work place. It also includes identification to various
