Transparent communication – In the company, every problem needs a better and transparent communication to
solve all problems. The management requires communication that is a fundamentally necessary and it provides a
facility to an open dialogue between the Hotel's worker and its customers. It can help for both and in this way
they are comfortable to share their requirements and also give feedback.
Solid foundational strategy – For these problems, management should make a perfect strategy and implement it
in order to solve labour turnover problem. Management should collects all information, different resources and
make budget according to the possible expenses to make a solid strategy. It should also notice on the work that it
will be follow according to the strategy.
Break down silos – In order to solve any problem that raise in the Hotel needs to break down silos. It enables a perfect and
boundary less management that culture is purely focuses on the betterment of a healthier services. It should also ensure that
there are not make unnecessary silos because it invites hidden agendas rather than accept efficient cross-functional cooperation
and trouble solving.
Open minded – Open minded people are useful for better communication and break down the silos. Many persons are works
together to serve the best quality service to their customers.
4.2 Variety of styles that help for solve the problems at each levels
All such problems that raise in the Hotel are influences its main objective is to serve
higher customer care service. In this regard there are some solution described previous
answer and at this stage, there is some communication styles describe. These approaches
are helpful for every issue at each level. These styles are as follows:
Reserved Communication – It refers a special type of communication that held between
two people and only for their official purpose not for personal discussion with anyone. It
simply keeps all employees engaged in doing their professional work. It will help at
every level of management to solve all labour turnover related issues.
Direct Communication – This style is straight forward and it can be do with full of
confidence without any wavering. It describes as management gives instruction or
direction to their employees as directly without any barriers. It conducts only face to face
so for this reason it will useful in solving all issues.
Indirect Communication – It describes that people do not
believe in direct communication and they are slow in their
working. In this style is based on facts and figures and never
trust on assumptions so it also helps to rectify the conflicts at
each level.
Open Communication In this type people are often
convenient with their friends and colleagues. In this type
people are free to talk about their feelings and emotions so
this is also known as informal way of communication. People
are free to refer their feelings without any fear and they share
it anyone. It is also work on the persons who just initiate a
feeling of partnership between them to carry on their work
properly. It is also helpful for management of Travelodge
Hotel
4.1 Solutions for some work related problems
In the Travelodge Hotel, assistant manager faces many issues
regarding to their labour turnover that it is increases from last three years.
Causes of this problem are low morale in staff, decrease labour motivation,
higher workloads and many more that affect to their management aim,
provide higher customer care. All such problems have a negative impact on
its customer care service and company not achieve its target. In this
context, there are some solutions regarding for this.
