INTRODUCTION
A personal development plan is a written record of a process of self-reflection,
introspection, and an honest assessment of an individual's strengths and weaknesses.
Furthermore, individuals must perform a talent audit before creating a personal development
plan since this will aid them in analyzing their strengths and weaknesses. Individuals create a
career and progression plan and analyzing their weaknesses, which assists them in effectively
overcoming their weaknesses (Powell, Fery, Agenbroad and Guzy, 2019). This report will
discuss skills audit analyses, career and progression plans, work-based projects, and reflection.
All of these will contribute to an individual's improved growth as well as the efficient conduct of
tasks connected to a brighter future.
MAIN BODY
Planning of career and progression
Succession planning, management development, career ladders, and other terms are used
to describe career progression planning. Career succession planning, often known as
progression roles, is an important part of a company's human resources strategy for long-term
development and achievement. Career progression can is very important for the person because
it will provide appropriate guidance in developing weak areas in order to get a personalities and
achieve the goals and objectives of the individual in order to become effective. Thus, my
weaknesses are my time management skills my decision making skills communication and
planning skills. Therefore for me it is very essential to develop and enhance my weakness in an
appropriate manner in order to get more opportunity (Phan and Zhu, 2020) . The supports me to
support me to conduct my activities and task in an appropriate manner. The maps may be

used as a career tool to assist prepare for a job interview, decide which career to pursue, how to
enhance promotion prospects, or whether to quit a job or change fields. When goals or targets
are unclear, Mind Maps can in handy. Exploration, Establishment, Mid-Career, Late-Career,
and Decline are the five main stages of career development. Career development is the process
of making personal changes in order to reach a personal career goal. A career plan is any
behavior, action, or experience that is intended to assist a person in achieving their career
objectives. A career plan is an individual's deliberate decision about the level of investment he
or she is willing to make in order to achieve career goals. It is very important for the individual
and for me to develop correct strategy in order to get opportunities in advantages in order to
become successful at my career and enhance my opportunities in order to achieve my goals and
objectives which are decided by me
Auditing of skills (job descriptions, skills matrix review & immediate skills gap analysis)
The term "skills audit" refers to a systematic evaluation of research abilities and
knowledge. Furthermore, auditing must give proof of current or increasing expertise. In addition,
skill audit is linked to need analysis, which simply means determining any training or personal
development requirements (Göksoy, 2018). In order to conduct skills audit there is job
description that support the individual and company to find appropriate candidate in order to
fulfill the requirements of the company.
