INTRODUCTION
For very aspect in the individuals life academic skills is an important element it involves
all the habits and the effective methods of communication which are being used by any person in
order to manage the growth in the life of person and their general adherence. In order to manage
the personal growth in behaviour and working there is been seen that cooperation, time
management, research are some of the aspects which are being used by them so as to manage the
future preparation for growth and development. For managing the academic kills personal
development plan creates a major role as this provides all the skills that are being needed by the
individual for their future growth and career (Dawson, 2018). In this report their will be a
discussion about the personal development plan with all the long term, medium term and short
term goals. Further it also discuss the value of personal development plan.
TASK
Personal and Professional development
This is the individuals own growth and the methods through which they manage to
develop all the skills in their behaviour. This is mainly an innate through which the growth in
human can be managed with potential. Personal development is basically the qualities that are
being generated in the persons own personality this implies all the self actualisation by the
person about their needs in the life and all their phase regarding to the personal development
through which all the inherent needs and security can be build. This is mainly the method
through which person can gain their individuality and generate confidence through all this. The
personal development can also be managed through self analysis by focusing all the nature and
the methods in which work can be idealised and also the personality can be developed(Tannehill,
2021).
Professional development indulges all the innate and the behaviour which the person
needs to gain in order to make the work and their future growth to be settled. This involves all
the vary nature and the ways in which the person can idealise vary element which will help in
career growth, the major indicator and the methods through which such growth can be practised
and implemented in the behaviour is through regular courses and training s and also by adapting
the schedules through which they can gain the target. The personal and professional development

be seen and analysed and this also reflect the skills and tactics that are needed in future growth.
Here the person takes control on all the aspects and the engagement in actions and reflection
regarding their growth and management. This PDP frames and help in gaining the future targets
and goals. This merely improve the standard and the quality of life and also adapts the
development and the methods in which the opportunities can be raised(Zimmer, and Matthews,
2022).
Short term Goals and its 3 main examples.
These are all such goals which can be covered in the short span of time, this involves
merely the desires in the employees to manage and do the work in shorter time period. This
usually takes the time for less then 12 months. The main motive of all these goals is to gain and
achieve the future long term managed goals. It makes the individual to gain certain position in
which they can implement and manage future growth and programs. It helps and make the
person to gain confidence in their behaviour, enhancing productivity and also in managing and
making themselves satisfied for future. Some of the methods in which the short term goals can
be improvised are like: Clarity in Directions- When there is given the proper direction to the person regarding
the work as which they want to achieve that will make them to adapt and provide all
action plan on that focused area. This mainly saves the time f the person and also
eliminates their efforts to go on waste. In order to achieve these objectives it is been seen
that when short term targets are analysed then the only focus is mainly on their work. Motivation- This helps in enhancing the personality of the person and also make them
confident for the future programs. As there is idealised that in all the areas where
employees generate and focus on their goals it will make them confident(Ermasova,
Wagner, 2017). Overcoming all Procrastination- As when the person is more focused on their work this
will make them to develop and do a particular task and save their time. It make the
individuals motivated towards there goals and also helps them to focus on the prioritise
work.
Management of time- This is the activity through which all the targets and the goals are
achieved an this provides that the person can manage their time by eliminating other

It is being achieved after gaining the short term goals as all of these are inter linked with
each other and there is been seen that it manages a bridge between the short term and long term
plans and goals. It helps the individual to adapt and focus on all the work which are given and
managed accordingly so as to create an effective balance. This time for about 18 months to 2
years. Mainly individuals tries to manage this goals so as to maintain the motivation and the job
security in their work (Hinojosa-Pareja, and García-Cano, 2020). Their involves so many skills
and the work in the company. It helps out in some of the important manner which are like: Promotes motivation for long term plan- This boost the confidence and the morale of the
individual and there is been seen that employees can manage all their goals and targets in
proper time and their should be framed that when such goals are achieved it will create a
motivation in the employees that they are close to their future plan as it helps in
managing and generating progress for all the future work and nature. When the person
want to achieve the target then they can effectively manage the growth through certain
strategies that all the work will help them in future and this motivates them at full
force(Schwartz, 2019). Balance between long term and short term goals- It provides a major connectivity
between the different goals as their van be seen that all the implementation and the
working are made for the aspirants and future growth. The short term helps in providing
the base in between them and their involves all the accomplishments through which the
goals can be targeted and provided. Here the lessons and the teachings which are adapted
by them creates a effectiveness and habits to gain the desired goals.

satisfactory feeling as through this all the longer time span are being created and this also
manage the promotion and the advancement(Xerri, 2017). As this take longer time so the person
usually have the higher targets and hopes for all such work they ate like the new job, promotion
and all other major concerned areas. Major values it give for future are like: Improvement in personality- This helps to manage and maintain all the growth and the
methods through which the person can develop their personality and there is been seen
that in all such goals the person as regularly focus on making their work and their
personality perceives achieves improvisation in their personal behaviour(Pochtaryova,
and Vasyagina, 2020). Shaping career- it is mainly an important method through which the career can be
effectively balanced and their idealised that all the work and the growth can be achieved
as the individual prepares themselves for all the future growth and the targets and also for
the further career development. Professional development- As when the person tries to manage the work there is been
seen that in all such cases they try to adapt all the short and medium term goals through
which the identity can be influenced and it also evaluate and effectively manage the
work. It is been seen that long term goals make the professionalism in the working nature
of the person and also uplift their general ideas.
Financial stability- Through this goal the person can gain the financial balance in their
work life and will also provide the safeguarding methods through which all the stability is
managed. Their can be seen that all such areas and the nature creates a persons safe bank
