the individual can be assessed. In this report, there will be the analysis of the Gibbs reflective

Evaluation of key skills developed for business and academic context
There are various skills which are vial for an individual which is necessary for both
academic and business contexts. Communication, time management and numeracy skills are
important to prioritise activities and influence people through giving good guidance. Other skills
are interpersonal, problem solving skills in order to engage with people and build workplace
relations. Also, IT skills are equally important to work in developing technologies and adjust in
modern environment.
Significance
Communication skill have helped me in presenting my ideas and thoughts while learning
in university. It is important for me to complete projects and showcase them on power point
presentation which also develop my ICT skills as well. Numeracy and problem solving skills
have helped me in providing necessary solution about the problems. When I worked on the group
project, problem solving played crucial role in taking decisions to divide the tasks. I took much
time to learn these skills. In learning good communication, I took maximum 3 months to focus
on my vocabulary and public speaking. Also, I worked hard for 2 months to learn ICT skills and
start working on practicing daily.
