PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT
INTRODUCTION AND GENERAL PLANS
Apple Inc. is a leading American organization which is manufacturing consumer
electronics and computer software. They have a wide range of iPhones, iPods and iPads
especially. The company is currently operating more than 350 stores in many countries
including Singapore also. The company is having more than 50,000 employees on full term
bases and having a very good reputation in the electronic industry. Apple was founded by
Late Steve jobs in 1976. At that time company concentrating only on the production and the
sale of Apple I and Apple 2 computers. Now the company is a brand leader in its categories
like iPhones and iPads especially. In Singapore Apple is planning to open more stores so that
they can get huge revenue from the market itself and also developing the app with rapid
program at partner schools in Singapore. In Singapore, the Singapore university of
Technology and design are always launching App development courses using Apple’s
program for the senior beginners. Apple in Singapore is very well known for its interest in
education coding to people of all the ages and different skill levels. (Bartlyby writing,
2015)
JOB ANALYSIS
As a HR Manager it is really important to summarize the job. Job analysis of a HR
manager is really important for any of the organization or the company. Apple always take
care of its employees as well as the working culture within the company itself. There is a
summary of job analysis of a HR manager and that is they have some prime responsibilities
like plan, direct, supervise and coordinate work activities of juniors/subordinates and staff
relating to the employment, employee relations and the compensation of course. HR Manger
is the link between the management and the employees. It is the duty of HR Manager to
determine the duties and responsibilities that is required by the top management to meet the
requirements of their employees. (Admin, 2013)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Hr Manager is a higher responsibility in an organization as he/she has to take care of
many things like recruiting, staffing, organizational planning, employee on boarding, needs
assessment, training, employee relations and much more. In other words, HR manager is
answerable for the development of procedures and metrics that upkeep the success of the
administration’s business goals. They have several Tasks, duties and responsibilities to do
within the organization itself. HR Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving the
organization’s human resources by scheduling, applying and valuing employee relations and
HR policies and programs.
TASKS
There are several tasks that have to be performed by HR Manager like they have to
ensure about the health and safety of their employees, they have to develop or recruit a
superior workforce, they have to select the best employee which is suited according to the job
profile. HR Manager has to develop a healthy working culture within the organization which
highlights the quality, nonstop improvement of their work, employee retaining and growth of
each employee and offering high performance. HR Manager is responsible for individual
continuing growth. (Tiwari, 2014)
