INTRODUCTION
Personal reflective is the method of analysing the skills improved or developed during
attending any course or workshop. Basically it is self assessment method that helps the
individual in self realization of the skills that required to be developed in future (Scharf, 2020).
The present portfolio and reflective summary is on the how and why mini project workshop I
have attended contributed towards my employability skills.
Summary
The mini project workshop which I have attended recently has made me realise the weaknesses
of skills that I possess and contributed in eliminating those weaknesses by developing and
constructing the skills that has strengthen my personality and my employability skills. During the
starting days of workshop the major issue I faced was the lack of time management skills. The
mini project workshop provided the task with the deadlines that are required to be completed and
complied at particular time period. This practice helped me in reinforcing and organising my
time according to schedules that really developed my time management skills. The another
deficit I observed during the team activities were many teamwork weaknesses such as I get lost
in the details and lose sight of the wider task, I am not able to put forward problems that I
observe in plans of others during discussions and I am not able to speak up my ideas freely.
These weaknesses also showcased me my other lack of communication skills, self motivation,
negotiation skills etc. But the team work activities that were organised during the mini project
workshops assisted me in hearing the others ideas and opinions has motivated me in putting up
my ideas in front of other team members that help me developing the attribute of speaking my
mind (de Schepper, Sotiriadou and Hill, 2021) . Mini project workshop also conducted the
session that was based on employability skills like researching skills, ethics, organisational skills
etc. Recognise that I have a good organisational skills which is it strength in my employability
but due to the lack of researching skills I am a lack in some of the activities during my career or
the job therefore it is very essential for me to improve and reconstruct my researching and
statistics skills which will help me in quick decision making and problem solving. The workshop
also made me learn few ethical policies and practices of employability. The career development
plan workshop during mini project workshop has really encouraged and facilitated me in revising
