Reasons for choosing the project (e.g links to

The chosen topic for research is globalisation and it
is new trend in businesses nowadays. Thus it is
important for companies to know more about this
concept and know how to make more profits. The
main objective of this research is to know what are
the implications of globalisation and how it provides
benefits to companies. Sin case of Morrisons it is
important for this company to work effectively in
foreign markets by adopting strong strategies.

Concept of globalisation
According to the views of Huda,( 2016),
Globalisation is a basic process in which there is
integration of companies, government and individual
across different countries. There is interaction also
involved in this process. This has played a very
significant role in growth of companies and people
across world. This helps in overall economic and
socio- cultural development of countries in term of
GDP and also rising living standards of citizens of

that country. Interaction of different cultures take
place in this process, which leads to establishments
of networks among counties and mutual growth &
development takes place.
Positive and negative influence of globalisation on
Morrisons
According to the viewpoint of Mutalemwa, (2015),
The main benefit for businesses because of
globalisation is increased profit and market share.
Thus it is said that all companies must work at
international level to earn more and more profits.
These helps in making the company renowned at
different markets. On the other hand, there are some
negative influence of globalisation on company too.
They includes job insecurity, conflict due to
difference in culture and fluctuations in prices and
rates in different countries.
Certain ways by which negative influence of
globalisation on Morrisons can be minimised
Globalisation has lot of positive effects but there are
certain negative impacts also which has to be
minimized to increase overall positive outcome of
this process. Such as there must be a shared vision
and companies must empower their employees to
increase their motivation level. Every company must
highlight excellence are and then focus on that and
take that to different country so that they can also get
benefits from it. Every country must realize that
globalization can be very successful as it is not
benefiting one country but is is having mutual

benefits.

is a kind of bar chart that shows begin and
completion dates of many components of project
that consists resources, tasks, dependencies and
milestones.

Methodology:
Research methodology is a process which is
used to collect information and relevant data on a
particular topic of research as selected by the
investigator or researcher. Every research
methodology is different as objective on which it is
based is also different from each other. Research
methodology has certain steps which are undertaken
in a sequence so that research can be successfully
completed and results can be obtained.
Primary data: This is original data collected
by investigator to conduct research. There are many
different methods of collecting this data such as
questionnaire, personal interviews, surveys, personal
observation etc.
Secondary data: when data is not originally
collected but is extracted from any source then it is a
secondary source. Various sources are websites,
magazines, newspaper articles, publications and
many other similar sources are considered as
secondary information.
Questionnaire: These are set of questions
which are formed to gather primary information
from selected respondents. There are different types
of question included in every questionnaire which
vary according to the requirement of research.
Sampling: it is also a type of process in
which a sample is selected as it is not possible to

conduct research on whole population. To make it
simple researcher always selects a sample which
depicts all features and then research is further
conducted on that particular sample only. This
method is time saving and also cost effective, that is
why researcher select this method/
Sample size: It is the actual size of sample
selected, in this research work there are total 30
respondents selected as sample.
