INTRODUCTION
Communication is act of conveying meaning from one individual to another through
utilization of mutually understood symbols, signs and semiotic rules (Darics, 2017). However,
business communication critically focuses on aspects relating to marketing, brand management,
consumer behaviour and many more. This report is based Mr. Fishy restaurant which operates its
business operations in London. The outcome of this report is implement several new policies in
order to create better cooperation at workplace.
LITERATURE REVIEW
1) Describe and analyse the purposes and principles behind different forms of organisational
communication.
Purpose of Communication
Communication is essentially a process of transferring information from one person to
another. The prime purpose of communication is to effectively understand information through
which all business related aspect can be made clear (Doan and McKie, 2017). The main purpose
of communication can be effectively summed in the following:
Preparing People to Accept Change: Effective as well as proper communication is an
important tool through which business related aspects are effectively managed. However,
communication significantly helps in managing organisational policies and procedures in
effective manner. In context, to Mr. Fishy restaurant communication skills will help in
effectively preparing people to deal with the change. In order to carry out this formal
communication shall be adopted by respective organisation.
Learning Management Skills: Communication effectively helps in facilitating flow of
information, ideas, perception as well as opinion. Through this manager as well as
supervisory staff attempts to learn managerial skills. Therefore, with respect to Mr. Fishy
the prime purpose of communication is to effectively enable the employees to learn
