Critical path (CP) is referred to a sequence of activities in a project plan or the
longest path followed for completion of any project. The critical path for this
project is highlighted with red colour line 1-3-4-5. Activity which is on critical
path cannot be initiated unless the predecessor activity gets completed. If the
project is delayed for a single day then entire project will be delayed.

3A.2 Bar chart for allocating labours
The project will be accomplished followed by 6 activities in a sequence. For
completion of each task, no more than 5 people will be allocated. For each
activity, based on the allocated resources a bar chart that is created elaborated
below:

3A.3 Reconfiguration of project plan
The project was running well but at the initiation of 6th day one worker (labour 4)
asked for 3 off days (day 6th, 7th and 8th). Reconfiguration of project resources
identifies that the total numbers of days will be increased from 12 days to 15
days.

The plant improvement project in the workplace is comprises of 10 activities. The
optimistic, pessimistic time are provided and the SD for the project is calculated
in the below table using (P-O)/6.
