INTRODUCTION Success is defined as attaining particular object in effective manner. Preparing for success is said to an interactive web learning technique that is used by students to get ready for higher education(Benson, 2018).The essay is based on an education experience and it demonstrates experience of effective communication as well as procedure which enabled an individual in improving performance. It also includes reflection about the ways working and communicating in academic context has influenced individual performance, experience and behaviour. PART A Experience of effective communication together with process that enables in performance improvement Management intern is one of education experience that is experienced by a management student in its coursework. Management intern performs various activities under supervision of human resource manager of an organisation in order to gain knowledge and experience about handling manpower, overseeing administrative work and posting job related advertisements (Beghetto, 2016). Along with this, management intern also learns about scheduling meetings, setting compensation packages and gathering pertinent payroll information and many more. in the education experience, effective communication plays essential role as all the policies and programs set by the experts or interns are required to be communicated in the entire organisation so that implementations can be done properly. It also boosts engagement with other people and creating strong team within the company. The management intern achieved positive experience in communication with top level managers and manpower of the entity through sharing thoughts, ideas and emotions about managing things and performing workings with innovative ways. Throughsharinginnovativeideasbycommunicatingeffectivelywithadministrators, management intern experienced advancement and improvements in creativity and knowledge via putting things forth. Along with this, management intern also experienced overall enhancement in own efficiency as the organisational administrators understand the talents as well as potentials that help in providing clear directions for completing the internship in proper manner and improving productivity. It is also analysed that effective communication improves work quality and also eliminates issues and barriers in working towards education career. 1
To improve performance, Management Intern used Driscollās Reflection Model. The model involves various questions that helped the educational student to improve the performance while performing internship in the company. The three questions are What, So What and Now What (Rajalo and Vadi, 2017). By using the model, Management Intern consciously looked towards own actions, responses, experiences along with feelings. It was used in all workings in the internship and helped in developing skills, competence and knowledge that further resulted in various improvements in performances. The key questions and activities done by Management intern in each one for the purpose of improving performance include the following: What: It is the initial phase in which educational student frames a clear picture about what they are going to deal with in the practices. A Management Intern lists out main incident, situation along with understanding about the context of education experience. While working as intern, a student monitors workings performed by professional of human resource department and also provides constructive ideas to make changes in current policies and strategies for managing manpower effectively. Along with this, management intern also takes good care of required equipments and necessities of organisational workforce that improved performances in meeting the requirements and completing working within the deadlines. Moreover, Management Intern also communicate about innovate policies that are set by managers to lower level manpower so that all the things or aspects of the policies are made clear to each and every member. This helps the intern to enhance the performances in the field of management. So what: Through working in business as management intern, an individual feels they have gained better understanding about professional relationships at workplace and works very hard to make image in the company also that it can hire them in coming duration(Scuotto and et. Al., 2017). This builds confidence and efficiency of the student as they gains huge experiences through working with human resource department and learning about responsibilities of the HR manager. Person centre care is highly priority in entire business profession. It is all about ensuring that organisational members are involved with objectives of company and central to care and needs of each person. By emphasising on each manpower and meeting their needs and requirement helped the management consultant in improving own performances. Now what: The stage involves thinking about actions. The actions are related to the working performed to gain experience in the field. For instance, Management Intern has taken actions such as implementing flexibility in the organisation, changing behaviour of employees and many 2

more. Through working in the actions, management intern has gained positive experiences in handling manpower and decision making of top management. Apart from this, it also results in negative experiences as when the thought or ideas of the individual are not supported then it de- motivates them and makes them feeling useless(Sternberg, 2016). At the time when top managers supports ideology and policies of the management intern it leaded towards improving performances as new ideas are provided to solve different situations. PART B Reflectiononthewaysworkingsandcommunicationinfluencedindividualperformance, behaviour along with experience. InacademiccontextthatisāManagementInternāhasinfluencedmybehaviours, performance together with experience in management field. I analysed that working with superiors of the company helped me in thinking in innovative manner and providing some new ideas that are yet not presented by anyone. In academic context, working and communication are necessary attributes that influences individual behaviour and experience in positive manner. When I was able to communicate my ideas with my mentor and shared their working in people management influenced my behaviour positively as this motivated me to work harder and thinking creatively. Along with this, working and communication improved my working criteria and adoption of things easily and fastly which resulted in enhancing my performances in the learning environment. Working with different types of people that belongs to different cultures and have variations in beliefs influenced my experience in performing distinct action for each member. I learned that all people are nit same in an organisation and it requires different ideas to motivate them to work for common objective. To work for this, I managed things properly and solved issues or grievances of the staff members that influenced my experience to another level. CONCLUSION From the mentioned essay, it is concluded that preparing for success in important for an individual to attain beneficial results in career. Effective communication articulates thoughts addition to feelings in conversation and also enhances relationships with other members and top management. Process of improving performance includes three aspects that are What, So What as well as Now What. 3
