INTRODUCTION
Reflective learning specifies an effective technique for students to analyse what they have
gained or learned from their study materials. This framework enables learners to identify their
strengths and weaknesses and hence provides improvisation opportunities. This approach
assesses learners to record their development, articulate their skills, rectify drawbacks, and
develop self-awareness (Chang, and Barford, 2018). It enhances thinking process of students and
makes them realize their motive as well as responsibility for personal growth. This report
consists my learning experience and my development as a learner. Along with it, future
challenges as well as expectations of course at university are also analysed.
MAIN BODY
Earlier, I used to be a late comer. None of my projects were completed on time and I used
to face lots of issue in understanding and analysing my study materials of university. My
teachers used to scold me and my grades were low. Even I used to be nervous while participating
in management contents and my presentation skill were too poor. It resulted in low self-esteem
and increased my stress level as I felt demotivated. This was the reason that my confidence
started declining which further reduced my academic performance. Once, I was chosen for
representing my university in debate competition. I was not intended to participate but did not
had any choice. When I went in competition my turn was last (Rutt, Mumba, and Kibler, 2020). I
saw all the participants who were speaking confidently and fearlessly in front of audience. But I
was scared a lot. When my name was announced my heartbeat started beating fast. Then I went
to stage my started hesitating after one line. Everybody was looking at me and I was silent. I
forget what was the topic, what I had prepared for debate. I was just looking at the faces of
people sitting in front of me and there constantly judging eyes which were perfectly able to make
me more nervous. I realised my weaknesses and decided to change it. For this reason, started
focusing on my module. This module provided guidelines for public speaking, communication,
presentation, time management, reading skills, and team management. Initially, it was quite
boring to attend such sessions but day by day I realised its effectiveness and noticed changes in
my learning pattern. Communication assignments and presentation went well. Even team
management games were played in classes where they provided some management tasks and we
have to accomplish them within decided time line. It enhanced my team performance skills and
