2.1 Primary Healthcare Philosophy
Primary health care (PHC) covers the bulk of a person's life-long health care needs. It
encompasses physical, emotional and social possibly the best-being and is more focused on
individuals than on illness. PHC is a whole-of-society strategy including health education,
treatment of injury, diagnosis, recovery and hospital care.This approach helps in resolving health
problems and a standard of quality of service. As a strategy medical service interacts with the
community's serious health issues and concerns. This can include medical and recovery
programs, patient or family counselling and assistance, health protection and prevention of
sickness and economic development (Maijala, Tossavainen and Turunen, 2016).
2.2 Defining Health Issues
In present time, it is very important to conduct a health assessment program as it support to
detect the issue or symptoms of a diseases within an individual. Proper body check-up enables to
define the main area of body or give indication about the body part which is suffering from a
particular disease. A health appraisal is a treatment plan that defines a person's particular needs,
and how the health service or nursing care centre should meet those needs. Medical screening is
a screening of health condition after doing a medical test by obtaining a background of fitness.
2.3 Issues of Health on Daily Activities of Living
Physical: In case if an individual is suffering from a disease such as, Covid-19, Cancer etc.
he / she not able to perform their own personal work in proper manner. Their body temperature
increase and different part of body feels pain and they found themselves in a condition where
they are not able to stand properly.
Psychological: As individual suffer from any serious disease the very first thing comes to their
mind is of death at any time. They use to think that no one can save their life and the only option
is end of life after certain period of time. This extra worry also lead to mental disease and
patience may also faces the problem of brain collapse or Comma (Morken, Johansenand Alsaker,
2015).
Social: When an individual is suffering from a disease which cannot be cure immediately
then surrounded people also start behaving in rude manner to them due to which they might feel
