INTRODUCTION
The services that are provided by health and social care to the individuals by taking care of their
dignity, diversity, self respect and privacy are detailed in this report in form of leaflet. To avoid any kind
of harm or mentally disturbances there are several facts that are taken into consideration by health and
social care. Also, the policies and procedures that impact and conflict that arise while providing service
are discussed in this report. The organisation of health and social care that are considered in this report is
NHS. Incident of child’s physical abuse is discussed in this report by personal decisions which personally
taken care of bringing out the efficiency.

2.1 The implementation of policies, legislations, regulations, and code of practice that is
relevant to own work in health and social care.
For the effective performance of health and social care by maintaining the self esteem and respect
for the life of people Government of UK has enforced certain legislations, laws, policies and procedures.
But some people are left in the home care due to being disability or mental sickness or may be of
financial liability. There is separate code of conduct, legislation and ethics enforced by law and the
guidelines are
 Appointees and agents: Residents appoint the appointees and agents as the nominees. For the
facilities of the homecare of NHS and national association of care catering pay for the fees or any
other payments of the residents comparing to National association of care catering. Social service
department select and decide the nominee in case there is absence of friend or relative to the care
needy patient.
 Safety laws: There are certain rules and regulations that are framed and followed strictly by NHS
in order to avoid any mishap that can happen in the premises. Comparing to other organisation
and national association of care catering safety laws are followed and performed strictly.
 Power of attorney: In case of old aged member being incapable for performing the transactions
of financial the authorised to agent are allowed to perform on behalf (Drummond and et.al.,
2015). This is termed or known as power of attorney. All the roles and responsible actions are
performed by authorised individual.
 Trusts: The role of trust is to manage the financial transaction of old aged person if suppose, the
authorised residents have huge amount of assets and found incapable to take care.

 Court of protection: To solve the raised issue and conflicts to the aged people in case of assets
and financial terms when they do not have relative or family the protection is provided by the
court regarding the protection.
 Policies, regulations and legislations: Various regulations like code of practices with
different policies related to care aspects are known as regulations. Children act of 2004
and care standard act of 2000 are the requirement for overall effectiveness by providing
health and care services are termed as legislations. Also, various policies and procedures
are framed for the effective performance and functioning of acts is termed as policies.
2.3 Evaluation of impact of policies, legislations, regulations and code of practice on NHS
policy and practice.
There is various national policy of NHS that have impact on the regulations that are
framed for the home care of NHS and aged people are detailed in this report.
 Optimum level of health and nutrition are maintained in NHS: For the wellness of
aged people and providing care facilities in the organisation of homecare of NHS
provides nutrition and healthy environment for the benefits of aged people, which helps
in promoting their physical and mental health with stability (Brett and et.al., 2014).
 Hygiene facilities are maintained: Old aged people need care and support with positive
environment. This positive environment rejuvenates their health and minds of people.
This is highly appreciated for the overall development of aged people in the organisation
of NHS.
 Conducting regular health camps: For the benefit and wellness of aged people the
health camps are conducted on regular basis by NHS. This health camps ensures about
their positive and negative impact in their health minds and body. For which the
organisation of NHS can take effective measures to overcome the barriers in healthy
conditions of old aged people (Wilson and et.al., 2017).
 Administration of facility is more efficient: Modifications and implementations that are
made in the facilities to be provided in the services of old aged people are taken into
consideration as these measures helps the aged people to develop in terms of physically
and psychologically. NHS effectively performs the functions for the overall healthy
benefit of aged people
 Dues are cleared by relatives and agents: The prominent impact of the policy, legislations,
regulations, and code of practice is the dues should be duly cleared by the agent those are
appointed by law or relatives for the services that are provided by NHS for the effective
performance and functioning without creating any kind of barrier and hindrances.
 Policies helps in encouraging services of community: The positive impact can be seen in every
areas of UK as there are many care taking centres are commenced and that have been efficiently
working by rendering services to the needy. This is the positive impact that provides great respect
and dignity to the life of the adults.

1.1 Roles responsibilities and accountabilities and duties in the context of working as
newly appointed manager.
There are various and important points that are to be performed by the newly appointed
manager for bringing the effectiveness in NHS are discussed in this report.
 Primarily the quality of food that are to be and being provided to the old aged
people of NHS are personally taken into concern as the healthy food can helps in
opting the healthy minds, soul and body, which promotes their health and social
services for the society.
 The quality based food enables the aged people to remain healthy and boost their
immunity and physical stamina. I solely and efficiently performs the functions of
effective health and social care workplace.
 Modifications and implementations of new policies and services are promoted
for the betterment and staff can be well trained for performing the efficient
functions (Brownson, Coldit and Proctor, 2017).
 Skilled people are engaged in the activities of care taking for avoiding any king
of uncircumstances and injuries.
 Inspections are regularly made of home care services for going through the
quality of services that are experienced by the old aged people.
 Special skilled experts can be appointed to know about the effectiveness and
efficiency in performances of home care.
 In case of emergencies and there are prevailing changes of emergencies as the
life of aged people are unpredictable, the plans can be made by following the
proactive approach, which can help in protecting the life of aged people
(Ventola, 2014).
 The medications that are to be given will be taken into concern regarding their
being given on time and consideration about their date of expiry which can
create barrier in health safety.
 The requirements of the aged people are focused and fulfilled by giving priority
to their needs as that means a lot to them.
 For any kind of misbehaviour or mistreatment or abuse whether it could be
physical, mental or sexual are strictly forbidden with severe punishments and
legal actions in terms of performance such activities.
 Experts and special departments are appointed for taking care of old aged people
in terms of protecting them with such activities.
1.2 Own contribution for development and implementation of health and social care
organisational policy.
For the perfect and efficient performances of roles and responsibilities and also for
development there are certain implementations and modifications can be made by own to
bring out the effectiveness.

 If any mishaps takes place in form of neglecting, discriminating, abuse whether it is
physical by hitting or causing injuries or child abuse or sexual abuse to the child or old
aged people, contribution can be made by me will be immediately addressing for the
care of the suffered person or child or both, to know about the current status and to
give the necessary care, medications and treatments and help to the needy and
suffering person (Gradinger and ert.al., 2015).
 The unlawful activity that is performed by the staff or management will be severely
punished in terms of law and never be offered to rejoin the organisation, even if they
found guilty.
 Necessary staff and experts are appointed for checking the modifications and
implementations that are made to develop the home care with the right procedures
and policies being opted by own.
 In order to manage the basic needs of the aged people the staff is provided with
training by instructions to follow the policies and procedures by making them aware
about the rights and responsibilities that are to be performed to acts as per
requirements.
 Providing medications on time for well development in health and care helps the
health and social care organisation to avoid mishaps and uncertainty
 With the help of regular counselling’s and advices the health condition of aged people
can be developed and any kind of abuse activities can be confronted while the
counselling’s and necessary actions can be taken against the staff or family or relatives.
4.3 Recommendations to develop own contributions in order to meet better practice.
Various number of recommendations and implementations that are developed by contributing to
meet the better and best practices for the old aged people (Dickinson and O'Flynn, 2016). To
bring the effectiveness the activities helps in bringing out the efficiency while performing.
 Primarily to avoid emergencies proactive approach are pre planned for the life saving of
old aged people.
 In case of critical situations they are constantly monitored with the help of expert’s team
to provide best medical facilities.
 For the process of evaluation separate committee and team is appointed for the purpose of
evaluation.
 Monitoring the faulty activities on regular basis to avoid any king of mishaps and bring
the effectiveness in performances.
 Training of staffs on regular basis which is, focused on modifications and techniques that
are to be practised, while rendering services to the old aged people in the health and
social care organisation.
 Latest techniques and technologies are opted for providing better treatment and services
to old aged people.

 Regular health checkups provide knowledge about their physical and mental health that is
prominent for every individual presented in health and social care organisation.
 Efficient staff should be employed to avoid lack of employees while rendering services.
 Friendly working environment can be arranged for the effective functioning and
providing better quality of life ahead (Cameron and et.al., 2014).
CONCLUSION
The physical abuse and the necessary steps that are to be taken personally are discussed
in this report. The barriers and hindrances can be resolved by performing the duties and responsibilities
effectively and efficiently are detailed in above report. For the performance of proper work the staff
should be well trained and skilled and instructed for the performances accordingly. The implementation
of policies and procedures and code of practice are detailed in this report with relevant explanation
(Green and Thorogood, 2018). Also, the effectiveness while working with inter professional
working are discussed in above report. Own contribution for the development and implementation of
health and social care in the organisation of NHS are detailed in this report. For the effectiveness by
evaluation of own contribution for the development of health and social care are taken into consideration.
Also, the recommendations are made by own conception for the better practices and requirements.
