INTRODUCTION
Health and Social Care are the units that works to provide services to
the patients in order to ensure their social well being, personal care,
protection, safety and security. The main motive of such organization is
to lay emphasis upon the welfare and well being of their visitors and
patients. These organisations do not work upon making and regulating
profits and other benefits for them, their main focus is upon
safeguarding the service users. East and West Care Home is situated in
London and caters to care needs of vulnerable people. But the care
home is facing some serious troubles.

2.1 Implementation of policies, legislation, regulation and
codes of practice.

Agents and Appointees
Safety Laws
Trusts
Court of Protection

2.2 How local policies and procedures can be developed in
accordance with national and policy requirements.
The policies and procedures in the home care for the elderly have to be as per the
requirements and norms of the national policy requirements.
It is important to appoint family members or relatives as the agent.
It provides assurance regarding the life and security of old age people and provide
motivation to them.
