Executive SummaryOrganizational change is the process by which the organisation changes its organisationalstructure, whole culture, strategies, operational methods, strategies and also that what is effectingthe changes in an organisation. As all of the organizations undergo the changes and studying ofthese changes provides a perspective on the process. Most of the organisational changes takesplace due to reaction to something which is not right and needs to be changed in an organisation.An organisation must develop an adaptability to the changes otherwise it will have negativeimpact on the organisation and will be left behind. Organisational change refers to the changes inthe structural relationships and in the roles of the people within an organization. There may bemany reasons of change in an organisation which have an impact on the employees and on theentire organisation. While as organisational development is a field of theory, research andpractice that are dedicated to the knowledge and effectiveness of the employees in anorganisation in order to accomplish successful organisational change and better performance inan organisation. It is a simply a technique of planned change in an organisation. It focuses on thebeliefs, values, structures and attitudes and also the entire culture of an organisation, so thatorganisation may better adapt to the changes within an organization.
