INTRODUCTION
Professional identity is termed as a respective professional section that will based on their varied
ethics, visions, standards and missions. Individual professional identity is established under
situations of several role of culture and values of standards. The management consider in this
report is Rosewood London hotel which was generally known as Chancery Court and established
in 1914 by Rosewood hotel group Court. It is a luxury 5 star organisation in the London,
England (Bastos, and et.al., 2021). The following report covers the importance of ongoing
professional development of the respective job role and its benefits for the stakeholders of the
management as with professional abilities and skills that are identified as per to the working of
an individual in the management. Hence, valuation will presented with the help of skill audit and
SWOT analysis by which an individual will perform their role. At last an interview script will
presented in terms of strength and weaknesses of the interview procedure.

Ongoing professional development is also termed as continuous improvement procedures
that will concentrates towards the profession in respect to advancing the abilities and skills. It
will present the learning actions and exercises that will improves their skills and competencies.
Continuous improvement is an essential term in life of the professional working in the
management in respect to improve their performance as with maximising the performance values
of the business.
Rosewood hotel is an international hospitality unit and an effective manpower that relates
to the facilities that offers to consumers in the management that will directly linked to hospitality
sector of service industry (Bøje, and Frederiksen, 2021). Ongoing professional development is
an important and critical exercise that are required to be hold by each respective in the business.
It also enables the manner to offer practices to the consumers who are visiting in the
management and keep them satisfied that will directly enhance the goodwill of the management
in local and multinational field. The importance and benefits of ongoing professional
development is appropriate for various employees who are performing their roles in the business.

A job role of Restaurant and Lifestyle manager is to oversee and support visitors and
consumers, managing requests and booking cars or taxis, conveyance, restaurant venue, food
menu and suppliers. The R&L manager of Rosewood hotel is accountable for various diverse
actions that is to maintain marketing staff effectively (Dhar, 2021). As with it R&L manager is
also accountable for effective betterment of restaurant activities by which visitors will get
influence and follow them for higher period of time. They manage their dealings with consumes
with grateful dining experiences that will raise their management values. They also maintain
effective sections for maintaining candidates that are directly engaged towards measuring the
productivity of the hotel.
It demonstrate the manner that R&L manager of hospitality management of Rosewood
hotel will maintain suitable number of skills and competencies in respect to perform their job
roles that are as follows-

 Innovative skills- It is an effective and important skills that should follow by each
respective in their job role of R&L manager. The R&L manager of Rosewood hotel hold

 Leadership skills- The R&L manager will maintain the manner of leadership that will
refers to the planning procedure that will based on present scenario. The Restaurant and
lifestyle managers hold up several presentable sections with the motive of solving the
conflicts and problems in the management in order to satisfy their visitors. An effective
and efficient R&L manager maintain the overall restaurant details and information as
confidential (Kaldheim, and et.al.,, 2021). The managers will have the leadership ability
to provide varied division of wealth and graphical image for further vision that has been
accomplished. Hence, leadership skills is termed as one of the competency that are
necessary by Rosewood hotel by which staff faculty perform their roles easily.
 Team building structure- A R&L manager is a respective who are accountable for
personal performance and group performance. Hence, partnership in the staff faculty will
support the manager to resolve challenging issues. Group action is an effective
opportunity for the staff faculty to hold up varied thoughts and maintain innovative
dealings. Moreover, Rosewood hotel employer’s collaboration is important competency
that might be engaged in the professional field.
The aforementioned skills and competencies are experienced by the employer in

conducting SWOT analysis, I have measure my strength and weaknesses that require to be
enhanced.

Strengths

 Interpersonal skills- It is salient strength that I carry, as I interact with other with higher
confidence that will look like more effective. Interpersonal skill in R&L manager are
termed as one of the ability that are important for them to get identify in employers of
Rosewood hotel. Team work- It is other effective ability that I hold as R&L manager. I understand the
significance of team work in suitable structure that develops my strength to perform the
work in a team and encourage others. As on the other side, highest and largest hospitality
offered such as Rosewood Hotel.
Weaknesses Inability to deal with changes- I have deficiency of skills to adapt dynamical variations
in effective way that require to be enhanced (McKay, 2021). By performing job role of
R&L manager I have adapted several divisions to operate management in competitive
situation suitably.
Opportunities
 Strategical thinking- I have strategical thought process skill that helps me to take
efficient decisions after measuring every aspect of issues that will get effect in
management as positively and negatively. It develops appropriate terms in me for the job
role of R&L manager in Rosewood hotel London because all decisions and plan of
actions are implemented after brief approaches that will lead towards success of the
management.
 Enhanced level of knowledge- It will increase and enhance my learning level of
knowledge in Rosewood hotel. The hotel management provide definite training and
advancement sessions for their staff faculty at their workplace.
Threats
 Challenges- It is termed as the threat that are important to be notice in relation to the job
role of restaurant and lifestyle manager in Rosewood hotel (Nazar, Rathbone, and
Husband, 2021). As it involves several respective and professional individuals in similar
area who are performing in the management who have higher opportunities over me to
hold my position.

As per to the strength and weaknesses that are determined in the above respected division,
personal skill audit is discussed below. It will involve various scores and ranks for areas for
skills identified above which are offered by colleagues, staff members and associates.

belongs to me. It advances me for the job role of R&L manager in Rosewood hotel. As there are
two skills in which I develop weaknesses for me and there I require to perform my job role in
particular fields. Hence, the ongoing learning schedule will support me in overcoming my
deficiencies and help me for becoming more effective the job role of R&L manager in Rosewood
hotel.
Range of different learning theories and approaches used for personal and professional
development.
The ongoing professional development applies various learning theories and approaches
that are useful for the professionals for their growth and also for their personal enhancement. The
learning approach and theories offers suitable knowledge and abilities to the individual in terms
of their necessary skills that will supports them in becoming pleasant (Olitsky, 2021). As such

theories and approaches are helpful for me by which I can improve my weaknesses by
overcoming it into strength. Such learning approaches and theories are as follows-
LEARNING THEORIES
 Constructivism- Such theory relates to the hypothesis of learning and a fundamental
thought that professionals structure will create their new skills on the foundation of their
previous experiences and learning. The past learning and knowledge of the person will
apply new changes in their learning practices (Ortiz-Paredes, and et.al., 2021).
Constructivism is a progressive process that require to be advised by me as a professional
term on continuous framework in my life.
 Cognitivist theory- It will wholly rely on intrinsic process that are intellectually relates
with the actions of knowledge and issue solving aspect that involves crucial thinking of
the respective.
LEARNING APPROACHES
 VARK Style- It is termed as a salient and advantageous section that are relates with four
particular style and approaches in a basic term of division. The respective individuals will
sort them in suitable learning values as per to their taste and also as per to their
understanding power. The learning style involve various sections such as visible, audio,
reading/writing and kinetics.
 Kolb's Learning Cycle- It is other learning theory or approach that are important for me
as the respective with many sections that involves encountering new and effective
practices. The following level presents the observation in which measuring and learning
works for determining incompatibility in performance that raise due to various issues
and misinterpretation. The next level is the last age concerned with the growth of
appropriate concept or a dynamical thought of idea.

personal development.
I have considered several divisional approaches that helps me to accomplish the targets of
personal and as well as professional growth. By the support of above evaluation of several
learning approaches and methods the constructivism and VARK style of learning is an
appropriate division for me and it will help me in my current position that maintain my suitable
R&L manager of Rosewood hotel (Reed, and et.al., 2021). As such two learning theories and

methods is helpful that will support me in increasing and growing new mindset and wholly new
section of expertise with the support of my previous experience and skills.
