Professional identity is considered as the knowledge, values, beliefs as well as skills
shared with others in professional group. In this report, the chosen organisation is Leonardo
Royal Hotel London City situated in London, England as well as owned by Leonardo Hotels. It
is Four-star hotel of UK. In this report job description for general manager and interview
questions that are asked to interviewer for specific job role are mentioned. Furthermore,
strengths and weaknesses of interview process are covered in this project report.

Review key strengths and weaknesses of an applied interview process
The process of interview for the job role of general manager is very import for the
organisation. After conducting interview, it is very important for human resource department to
identify strengths and weaknesses that are undertake during interview process (Nor, 2019).
Strengths and weaknesses of interview process are mentioned below:
Strengths:
Interview process is precise that strengthen it because direct questions are asked by the
interviewer. It facilitates organisation to get relatable information in less time. As interview face-to face interview is conducted that enable interviewer to evaluate
candidate's expression and provide scope to ask detailed questions that are required for
defined job role.
Weaknesses:
The process of interview is time as well as cost consuming that enhances the weakness of
whole process that is conducted by the Leonardo Royal Hotel London City. There are

descriptive questions are asked by the interviewer and some other arrangements are
required for the selection process that are quite lengthy and costly.
Time management is the basic problem that is faced during the process of interview that
enhances its weakness (Swinton, 2019). Arriving timing of candidates and their schedule
of interview process is not decided previously.
CONCLISION
As per above report, it can be concluded that professional identity and practices are
required for organisation to run in efficient manner and gain defined goals and objectives
efficiently. To appoint suitable candidate in specific job role, organisation conduct interview
process. It facilitates organisation to find appropriate candidate who have potentiality to perform
defined operations with full effectiveness.
