TASK 1 Unsuccessful negotiation During the part in an unsuccessful negotiation, I think that the poor planning is considered the biggest mistake for me where I found that that my team went wrong. In this, I actually realized that I should delegate the responsibility on the basis of their abilities so that it will help me to improve the work (Martin-Raugh and et.al., 2020). Therefore, before realizing the things in an effective manner, I actually perform the role in negative manner and this causes adverse impact over the performance. Moreover, I can say that in order to prevent myself from such things, I would implement the approach in different manner so that it will help me to overcome from such situation. TASK 2 Reflective commentary In the today’s session, I find that I understand my mistakes and I should focus upon strategies which help to improve the same. Also, I realize that working in a team will be more beneficial for me to improve the task and attain the same. Though this session, I learnt that an unsuccessful negotiation always affect the goals which need to be attain and this if the actions did not take effectively then it create a negative impact over my performance. Also, due to not evaluating my team effectively, I think that I am not good to work in a team because it took me time to work with people and understand their roles to meet the defined goals.For that, I actually work closely with my team members in order to realize their performance so that they choose the work accordingly. This help to improve the situation and work with the other members that help in different situations. Thus, it shows that negotiation skill will be improved by implementing effective steps. Although, there are many things which I learnt from my team is such that communication skills plays an important role to negotiate the things in better manner. Also, I might have learnt more if I also have strong written communication skill so that effective outcome can be generated. In addition to this, I should work on this that helps me to make the work more easier for my team and easily convince them as well for the further development. That is why, I can say
that there are many things which I need to be work on the communication skills and planning that helps me to improve the overall working environment.Such that effective action need to be taken in order to convert the same into a strength and meet the defined aim. TASK 3 Personal development plan Step 1: A. There is a need to working on my unsuccessful negotiation skill because it affects my career into a negative manner. Also, focusing upon this skill assist me to improve the overall performance and attain the set goals as well. This in turn assist to create a better outcome and raise the performance as well. B. After evaluating the team work, I analysed that there is a need to focus upon the written communication so that I can share my opinion with them easily and improve the learning as well. Moreover, developing this skill at this time help me to attain my career goals. C. I need to focus upon the negotiation skills and my main goal is to improve the overall performance. For that, I need to focus upon my written communication skill and this in turn can be beneficial for the business. This in turn assist to raise the performance and create a better outcome so that I can attain the goal. Step 2: D. In order to develop new knowledge, I focused upon different steps which are as mentioned below: Start working in a small team in order to understand their need and the way they working.

Also, I work with my seniors in order to improve my learning towards a negotiation skills. Now, I start listen to others in order to make them understood towards the work and this in turn help to improve my work. E. Through the steps, it has been identified that there is a need to work on the steps mention above so that it will help me to improve the overall performance (Melzer, 2019). Also, I can say that there is a need to improve the overall performance and that is why, there is a need to improve the performance by focusing upon the steps mentioned above. F. The development options for the performance improvement includes communication, negotiation skill so that the defined aim can be attained. Step 3: G. In order to accomplish the task, it is suggested to comply with the below mention steps which include: start attending the online session to improve my written communication. Start dealing with the team in a written form. Working in a team and apply the technique as per the situation. In the plan when the effective planning is not taken then it affect the overall performance and not able to attain the goals as well (Ennerberg and Economou, 2021). If the original plan does not work well, then there is a need to work on the alternative plan which include reading books, working close with the supervisor and start taking feedback from the colleagues. Step 4:

The list of development activities completed throughout the semester are: Presentation Working in a team Reading Aligning with goals Step 5: The new knowledge and skill help me to work effectively with my team in order to meet the defined aim. Also, I can say that in the workplace, we have to work in a team and that is why, there is a need to have strong negotiating skills so that effective outcome can be generated. Also, this behavior help me to improve the working environment and run the same in an ethical manner. Step 6: The negotiation and written communication skill help me to groom myself and can be able to meet the future goal as well (Seyff and et.al., 2018). Also, it can be stated that through such skills, I am able to improve the work and can add this as a highlight.
