1. Introduction
The different tools based on project planning are:
Gantt Chart – The tool of project management would help in providing a graphic form
of schedule based on planning and controlling of the project based on equipment cleaning. This
tool will aid in the planning of activities such as development of a project plan, planning
implementation, actual conduction of cleaning activities and closure of project.
Work Breakdown Structure – This tool would help in defining a formal hierarchical
decomposition of activities. This tool would help in defining the entire scope of the equipment
cleaning project. This tool would also divide each of the project deliverables and work of the
project based on small kind of manageable components.

5EQUIPMENT CLEANING SERVICE PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
The Gantt Structure helps in defining the entire outline of the project. In this outline the
initiation phase of the project is defined. Each objectives are set for the project initiation. After a
proper project planning has been implemented, the outlining of the details of project deployment
have been made. The conduction of cleaning of equipment have been introduced after each of the
previous stages have been completed. After the cleaning procedures have been implemented,
each of the cleaned equipment would be properly put in place and thus feedback would be gained
from the company officials.

4. Importance for Project Closure and Post-Implementation Phase
The planning for the closure of the project would be important as it would be helpful for
the final detailing of the entire project. It would also ensure that the entire project has been
completed as per the initial deliverables and set objectives.

The Post Implementation Review (PIR) would be conducted based on the completion of
the project. This would ensure that there would not be any kind of improvements and that the
project is successfully completed.
The two ways in which post-implementation review could enable project managers for
improving future projects are:
 With the conduction of a thorough and timely PIR, it would help in learning of lessons
and thus help in identification of shortfalls.
 The PIR would also help in making of final improvements within the systems.

5. Summarisation of BSC
A Balanced Scorecard (BCS) that would include Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
within the four categories within the project scenario are:
 Financial: The financial perspective would view the financial performance of the
organisation and also consider the use of financial resources for the project. The impact
of Fiscal Metric as a part of KPI would be helpful for the evaluation of the entire cleaning
costs and preservation of assets.
 Stakeholder or Customer: From this perspective, the organisational performance would
be viewed from the perspective of stakeholders or customers. The customer satisfaction
metric would be used for ensuring the satisfaction of customers based on a scale of 1 to
10.
 Internal Processes: The internal processes based on the cleaning project would be
helpful for maintaining the efficiency and quality of the cleaning services. The
appearance matrix would be able to scale the services based on a scale of 1 to 10. This
would depend upon satisfaction and approval from the company officials.
 Organizational Capacity: This perspective would be able to view the performance of
the organisation based on human capital, culture and other capacities. The sanitizing
metric could be used for the creation of an average score within the perspective of
healthiness.

6. Issues faced when Project Closure is not performed
When the closure of project is not performed, there might be some issues that
could be faced. These include:
Payment Issues – There might be some kind of payment issues in relation to the
equipment cleaning project.
Feedback Analysis – Without a proper closure of project, feedback from the
company officials cannot be gained.
