INTRODUCTION
Marketing refers to an essential factor for the organisation in buying and selling of goods
and services and promoting the offerings to the customers for gaining profitable results.
Marketing concept includes the several terms that are based on production, selling of goods and
services by matching the customer satisfaction level so that high profits can be attained. This
report is based on Blackberry smartphones. Blackberry is the king of smartphones as it sells
around 50 millions units during its peak time since 2011. The company can controlled the 50%
of market in smartphone industry within US and 20% in international market. In 2011,
Blackberry stopped their manufacturing by facing the major failure because of Apple and Google
Phones as they both gives the tough competition to the company because of this company can
reduce their market share. This project report involves the several terms related to marketing
concept and terminology because marketing is a fundamental requirement of Blackberry sustain
in market. It includes the several terms that are product, promotional and brand strategy. It
includes the marketing strategy that helps Blackberry to attain their objectives and at last it
involves the marketing concept and principles that helps organisation to perform their daily
operational activities.

Marketing concept defines as a philosophy of a organisation that is used for analysing the
needs and wants of customers so that it can be benefited to company and customers so that it will
sustain for a longer period of time. In case of Blackberry Smartphones, there are several
marketing concepts which is useful to attain the objective related to attracting the number of
customers and gaining high profits and sales. Some of the marketing concept related to

Production concept- This marketing concept is an essential as consider customer
preference that reflects the high quality at reasonable price so that customers buying
