Conceptual Design Preliminary Design Detail Design In this case, the project is planned based on conceptual design as it is neither finalized nor already developed. Now for the conceptual design of the system, the proposed functions that are desired from the system are as follows. Accounting– One major feature needed is accounting. The retailers need to keep track of payments for wholesalers as well as the revenue generated from the sales of the products. The system is expected to take entries of purchases and sales and automatically update the financials accordingly. 7PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND SYSTEM ENGINEERING For implementing the specifications provided, the retailer needs to purchase a new computer or upgrade the technical specifications if it already owns one. Various types of software as mentioned above are also required for performing various functions that have been described earlier. Appointing a technical expert is the most suitable way to handle this problem and ensure the requirements are correctly gathered for the project.
