Project Initiation Document
Background
QAHE wants to improve the spaces available for a business students within Birmingham
so that it helps to provide better seating facilities to the teachers and students. Also, this in turn
assists to make students comfortable and also attracts new customers as well. Moreover, with the
help of such thing project, principle and other teachers will let the students better understand the
concepts and conduct conference as well (Singh and Williams, 2021).
Objectives
 To increase the students attraction towards a University up to 20% within next 6 months.
 To raise the brand image at global level by offering best services to their customers.
Approach
In order to execute the project, PRINCE2 Methodology will be used because it is
completely based upon the business justification and also define the structure of an organization
according to project management team by using a product based approach. Further, it is one of
the highly used methodologies by project manager that helps to divide the project so that they
complies with each stage in better manner (Hair and Sarstedt, 2021). Along with this, all
resources which be in controllable form that assists to minimize the chances of risk.
Key staff
 Project manager: Key pillar of a project and also accountable for entire project scope
and resources. They are responsible for a success and failure of a project. Sponsor: University is the key sponsor of a project who delivers the project in right
manner. Also, oversee the project management functions and remain accountable for
ensuring realization of benefits within a time (Pan and Zhang, 2021). Team members: There are 5 key members of a project who follow the instruction of a
project manager. These include technical manager, resource manager, 2 staff, and
financial manager. Resource manager: He work with project manager and also ensured project get
complete resources in order to manage the work in better manner.
